Consistent with my previous note. Maybe even more sour cherry. So sappy, it’s almost like sour cherry juice.
Delicious and fresh.

Still in an excellent state, smooth and ripe red berries, paired with warm spices and a touch of truffle. Not the longest but otherwise very good pinot noiri. Geat value!

A bit metallic but otherwise well-balanced. Good structure with just the right amount of acidity that carries the rather subtle fruit (pear, peach) and the floral (jasmine, lime-leaves) aromas to medium and a touch buttery finish. Certainly not stunning, but enjoyable nonetheless. Needed a bit of air.

This bottle traveled with us from New Zealand to Australia and then to Europe where it spend another 9 years. And for that it seemed remarkably fresh. Bold and with spicy tertiary flavors, it had retained a lot of berry and cherry fruit. The full body and dense layers were well kept in check by the mature but durable tannin structure. Well worth our fine mushroom back.

Excellent expression of clean “ouillié” Jura Savagnin. Harmony of stone fruit, slight spiciness, minerality and matchstick. Medium bodied, a bit viscous with accompanying sweetness, everything well balanced by the stiff acidity. Long and fruity finish. I guess it’s the perfect moment to drink it.

A year on from last bottle it has really changed quite a bit. Much more savory notes, mushroom, undergrowth and even a slight “rotten egg” flavor but somehow this makes the wine even more interesting and it’s still holding on to berry fruit. Medium bodied and almost delicate. It’s got something of a pinot noir.
Really enjoyable if you like this kind of mature wine.

Still in good shape. Susceptible oak, but much less so on the palate where it is well integrated. Rather fruity, exotic and ripe peaches. Medium +-bodied with still quite bright acidity and not too much alcohol. Good length. Nice and uncomplicated wine.

Nice mix of spicy undergrowth and ripe but very bright fruit. On the palate more fruit forward but still complex enough (good acidity) for it to stay interesting for the subsequent glasses. Partner says “sunshine captured in a wine”.

Much better than the last bottle. This one confirms the excellent quality that I remembered from the initial tasting. Full of fruit, even a bit opulent for a pn but good tannin structure with nice acidity to balance. Complexity stems from forest floor and truffle undertones.

Still amazingly fresh for its age although clearly on the ripe side of red berries and plum. Ash, graphite and subtle tertiary flavors. Smooth tannins now pretty much worn off but nice acidity structure to keep the dense body in place. With air and time more musky and forest floor which had initially been rather subdued. More subtle flavors kicking in at the long finish.

Nose : honey , stone , ashes , quince , apple , floral , but not in a sweet , perfumed way Rather a bit botanical.
Palate : flavors similar to nose. Noticeably tannic, dense texture. Quite high acidity for pinot blanc. Long.
Complex, multifaceted and interesting. Always fresh. Although it’s clean and not very “orange-winey” you have to like this kind of style. We really enjoyed it, particularly to food (can well match lasagne)

Nose: Stony-Saltiness, citric-fresh , elderflower, rose, a bit of mint, almost a bit steely
Palate: bone-dry, medium acidity but still crisp. A bit of green apple here as well. Balanced and medium finish.
Yumm, really nice and enjoyable Sicilian (actually island of Salina) white, capturing well the volcanic terroir.

Peach-passion fruit jam in the nose, steely minerality, medium intense with maturity showing.
On the palate not quite as dry as “trocken” suggests. Again ripe fruit, peach, red apple but also lime peel. Honey. And relatively broad. Excellent acidity makes it a good food companion, we even paired it well with a tomato-apricot-burrato salad. Nice!

Nice and easy drinking. Relatively soft and a touch sweet with flavors of red berries and blackberries. But also enough acidity to make the second and third sip enjoyable. In fact , a bit chilled as recommended on the bottle (14 degrees) it’s fresh. And quite long. And this with moderate alcohol. Overall astonishing value.

Red berries , sour cherry, a touch bonbon; chocolat and cinnamon. Medium (-) intense in the nose.
On the palate bone -dry, a touch bitter, fruit rather in the background. Some residual CO2. You can taste the non-sulfur style if you know it, but it’s not too far off the mainstream. Good but not expressive acidity. A bit of herbal spices towards the finish. Cinnamon-infused plums. Probably best drunk cold.

Previous notes are getting it right, so I don’t have much to add. Probably a matter of taste, rather new world than Burgundy but very well made and enough acidity to keep it fresh and sufficiently multi-layered to be interesting beyond the first sip.
Personally, I really enjoyed it.

Seems like the perfect time to drink: quite full-bodied, lots of ripe fruit, verging on exotic but lemon and lime acidity keeps it fresh and morish. Some crisp slate minerality, too. Fruity and long finish. I was surprised by the relatively modest alc. (12%).
We really enjoyed it, particularly with food.

Honestly, I remembered it better than it showed now. There was a hint of mousiness and some other off-notes that I'd not contribute to the way it was made (which the wine-maker is quite famous of: leave almost everything to nature) or at least intended. These "flaws", if you want to call it so, somewhat conceal the underlying fruit. But it eventually it developed better with air and particularly with savory food. The sour cherry and black berry that I recalled from last tasting reappeared, to an extent that is. So, overall good and certainly interesting but I hope it was an off bottle nonetheless.

Still fresh, jucy strawberry, violets, just a hint of forest floor and barnyard. Spicy notes of dried herbs. Palate also fresh, relatively dense, complex but very smooth. Decent acidity and rather subtle tannins. Medium+ finish. In its prime and shining.

Complex and well done and probably appealing to those who like this style (bold, dense, a bit sweet from extraction and ripeness)

Maybe age, maybe vacation spirit but we found it better than the other’s tasting notes suggest. Nose with characteristic “typé” notes of walnuts, hazelnuts, floral interludes and a hint of ethereal aniseed.
A bit less “jurassic” on the palate, yet still expressive and fresh at the same time. Also ripe stone fruits such as apricot. Nice nutty (and almond) and quite long finish. A bit a tannins and still firm acidity.
Perfect fit for our delicious Jura menu with Comte-flan and dorade with aniseed sauce.

Not much changed since last time and that was 3 years ago. Due to the screwcap? Full of tension and acidity almost at the edge. Needs air but then mellows down and becomes pleasant especially with food (like our smoked trout). Still very crisp. After 3 days it got smoother, so this seems to be really a keeper. Should get better over the next 5-10 years.

Big, broad and dense. But so smooth, silky and sumptuous. Very ripe tannins and good acidity. Dark fruit, damson. Everlasting finish. You really get what you expect if big American wine but in a very well made manner. A pleasure but not for every day.

While there is no denying the presence of some vanilla sweetness it is much less oaky than I remembered. And given the age it tastes quite fresh with ripe exotic fruit. Pineapple, honey melon. mango but also lime and a bit of fresh almond.
Thus kept remarkably well.

Dense, lots of extraction, thus also a bit sweet. Ripe black berry and cherry fruit. Quite a hint of vanilla and maybe even some coconut. The full body makes the first sip the most enjoyable than it gets a bit heavier. But there definitely is some acidity to counter that somewhat. Still, I think it's best drunk with food or over a longer while in front of the chimney (or TV, alternatively).

Cannot add much as I pretty much agree with the other tasting notes.
Lots of sweet berries and cherries in the nose but also a bit of sweet spice like vanilla.
On the palate still youthfully fruity but here more complex spices come into play. Some graphite and even flint stone. Really dense, rather on the sweet side and long lingering cherry.
Very good wine indeed and fit even our pasta with squash-ricotta sauce.

Nose reminds me a bit of a Sauternes with peach, almonds, orange peel and botrytis notes.

On the palate quite broad and sweet (apple, peach) but nicely balanced by bitterness of (sweet) grapefruit. Mellow and agreeable mouthfeel. Medium but quite fresh (particularly considering the age) acidity. Finishes long on fruity apple notes.
