Too much oak makes this taste like vanilla sugar cookies. Still, it has some interesting undertones that save it.

This is a remarkable wine in all ways, body, balance, deep flavors. I am regretting not buying a case. This has years to go.

Medium to Full Bodied with hot tannic taste and not well balanced. Malbec and Cab Franc seem to overpower the cab. I wonder if more age with calm down the tannins and secondary fruit so that the cabernet can make an appearance

Needed a full day before opening up. The first day and first smell and taste were not very pleasant, but from then on it improved dramatically. A decent wine for everyday drinking...nothing special.

It took to the second day of drinking this Malbec for the wine to really open up and then it was truly flavorful and smooth. At first opening it had an unpleasant nose and off-taste. I was surprised by the total wine on the second day. Delightful.

I believe this was just the winery's 2nd or 3rd year of production. Still in great shape with tannins still present. Medium to full bodied with a pleasant nose of cherries and cigar box.

Our bottle was definitely musty and corked. I haven't run into that in a number of years and was very surprised this happened to a Justin wine.

This Rhone Valley wine was a complete surprise to me. A full bodied fruit bomb like you might expect from California not France. According the label this is a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre. Very complex and fun to distinguish the different fruit profiles. Smooth at the finish with some appropriate dryness.

Just a overall well made wine from BookerVineyards at a reasonable price point under $30. I understand from others that this is a Cabernet, Petite Verdot and Syrah blend. Medium bodied loaded with fruit in the nose and drinks with smooth tannins and overall rounded taste.

I had enjoyed previous batches of this but this batch #14 is an over the top fruit bomb with so much vanilla that it over powers everything. I bet you could reduce some this to a syrup and enjoy it with vanilla ice cream but too much oak in this to make it pleasant drinking.

Reminds me of the heavier big chards of the late 70s although this is more a medium/ full bodies wine with nose of apple-citrus, strong oak with these things clearly evident in the taste. Smooth.

Bought this $8.99 bottle to dump in my spaghetti sauce but of course pour a glass before I did. Pleasantly surprised by it. This is a bargain wine. Good fruit in nose and taste with mediaum body, dry with smooth slightly tannic finish.

Typical dark color with a nice floral nose and tasting dry with blackberries and lots of vanilla from the oak. Tannins handled well with smooth dry finish. A medium bodied wine with pepper spicing. Opened more for me on the second day. Very Nice!

Still kicking after 10years. Tons of vanilla nose and taste. A medium bodied wine with a little acidity. Too much vanilla overwhelms the cherry/berry nose and taste in the background. Tannins rounded out but still in play a little.

Initially, after viewing the dark, dark purple color and smelling the wonderful bouquet for the taste to come, you are hit with a dry, tannic taste that throws all berry flavors in the background. Day two, the wine presents itself the same. Disappointing. Then day three, it opens to great deep berry flavors with the same wonderful nose. Just allowing the wine to get it's air from an open bottle doesn't't work. I'll start using a broad base decanter to get air to the most wine.

This 10 yr old Chianti Classico was so tannic, it held all other flavor profiles in the background. A light bodied wine with a bitter after taste due to the tannins. On day two, I noticed brown edges but did not pick up any maderized taste but it was obviously on the downside of its' life.

New Zealand produces the best Sauvignon Blanc. This wine has wonderful crisp citrus smell although I also got some pineapple. Nicely clean and acidic with my light pineapple showing through. Very pleasant.

Very pleasant floral bouquet, light color, with tastes of cherry, some tannins but nicely rounded leaving a smooth finish. As I drank this on days two and three, the wine continued to open and improved the taste quite a bit. I would certainly buy it again .
