Opens up into a really juicy and flavorful wine second night. Drink now or keep for some years. There’s some slight bitter tannins that if softened will make this wine stellar.

Started out with such promise showing classic Chianti notes of red fruits and earthy spice, but turned into a bitter mess after just one hour. Wine spectator says drink 2025-2034 so maybe it needs more time. From initial impressions I’d say worth stashing a few away to see what happens.

Rebounded second night so upping my score a bit. If the fruit and spice hang in there this could be real nice in a couple years.

Ooh, this has developed nicely over the past couple years. High-pitched nose of perfume and subtle earthy notes, body is medium with taste of sour cherries and other cool red fruits, and spice box. Medium finish is chewy, sour and mouthwatering, oh so good. Impressive range of tastes and sensations in this wine. Love it!

Needs an hour to open up. Not quite as I was hoping but satisfying all the same. It’s showing it’s age in a good way but overall lacking a little oomph. Balance also a little off. Ready to drink but will probably go some additional years in the cellar.

Excellent. Quite a deep and perfumed nose second night open. Riserva is outstanding as well.

The elements are still a little raw but enjoyable nonetheless, and was a good pairing with venison roast. There’s more to come I think so recommend holding a few bottles until at least their 10th birthday and beyond.

As suspected…or at least hoped, this wine has added depth and character with a well balanced approach to savory and crunch ripe red fruits. It’s also mouthwatering and fairly long. Solid!
