Still young but there is a lot of pleasure if you taste it now.A typical great mouton with herbs, pencil, black fruits. Very silky and well ballanced withgreat aftertaste.Sadly it was my last bottle but if i had one i will keep it for 5-8 years more.

Still drinking well but i am sure that it is at the top of the hill and it is better to drink it now.Fully mature with some sighs of oxidation.Sweet and light body but still lovely.

As other cellartracker friends noticed I think that is better to drink this wine sooner than later.Definetely at it's peak and little oxidized need aeration about an hour before drinking.Very dark colour almost opaque with medium++ body and very nice well rounded tannins.Good aftertaste with lots of berries ,coffee(hints of espresso), moccha, vanilla.Also I would like to notice that the cork was very bad and broke when I try to pull over so be carefull with that.

I don't think that was the proper time to drink this bottle. For sure before 3-4 years was better. Mature wine but to old for such an exceptional vintage. Very bad!!!! cork .Quite good aftertaste with all maturity characteristics both nose and mouth.Drink it yesterday.

The wine was at the peak and maybe 2-3 years before was better. Dark ruby colour and smooth well made tannins. Quite good aftertaste but not very long and mediun body. Oak, berries,hints of vanilla.

I should say that I like this wine a lot.It has a very deep red color (almost opaque) and it is full bodied.Needs decanting almost 2-3 hours or more and I think that it will drinking pleasantly next years.My opinion is that it will not benefit from further cellaring.Well made tannins,lots of red fruits,cherries,chocolate,graphite,ink.Nose needs a lot of time to open and she is little shy.

A wonderfull surprise for me and a feeling that this estate was a chance for Greece to produce one day a 'big' wine. I was kept the bottle about 14 years in my wine refrigerator and it was in perfect condition. Garnet colour with brick hints, medium bodied with light tannins but velvet and silky texture. Sweetness and well balanced as it has quite long finish and very good aftertaste. Nose with berries,plums,leather and the same was at the mouth but the feeling was elegant and evolving. Before 5-8 years maybe that was a great wine.

A classic traditional brunello that needs decanting before drinking. Specifically my bottle needed 4-5 hours. Ruby colour with some brick hints, strong tannins and good aftertaste. Leather, cherries, dried red fruits. As time was passing it got better, more sweet and balanced. I will try to taste a younger wine with double decanting or more time. Needs food for companion like wild boar with pruns and quince.

Still fresh and youthfull its a wine very enjoyable. Deep ruby colour almost opaque,medium bodied with smooth and velvet tannins that are present all time. The nose open time after time but remains shy. Dark fruits.cherries,vanilla and oak that is a lot at the begining and get better after a while. Very nice try from a producer who likes to explore new things

Wow!! It's the second time that I have tasted this wine last year and I believe that I was a step from heaven. Dark ruby almost opaque color with velvety exuberant tannins. Full bodied wine that is the epitome of balance. Blueberries, dark berries, chocolate, ink, tobacco, cedar, fig. Very long aftertaste. A generous wine with a long life ahead . In a few years I think that is for 100 points

A lovely Saint Julien from this vintage.My first impression was that the wine was at its peak but after a couple of hours i believe that have life ahead.Nose is typical for bordeaux but very attractive and evolving every hour with truffle,tobacco,black cherries,earth and mocha.The colour is deep purple and that is another indication for a good future.Silky texture and well structured tannins accompanied by very good aftertaste.Mouth is also full of black fruits,truffle,spices,chocolate and i agree that there is little grain as other reviewers have noticed.Needs at least 30 minutes decanting and drinking well next 5-8 years.

A ripe wine which begins to lose its personality.It is still there to offer pleasure but not for a long time.Deep garnet colour with brick highlights,medium+ body and nose that appears at the beginning with notes of oak and plum but do not last long.Medium aftertaste followed by traces of chocolate and plum.Fortunately that was the last bottle...

This is an excellent effort from Penfolds.An interesting chardonnay from 2006 vintage but still youthfull with good acidity.Spotlessly balanced wine with a nose which is present and evolving all time.Medium body and good aftertaste.Citrus,lemon,nectarine,hazelnuts,toast all comes around.I will try it a few hours later because it seems to have more to say....

A forgotten bottle 14 years old was an interesting experience.An oxidized and mature gewurztraminer with character for his age.Definetely was better at his youth but it was not bad.Colour reminds honey and tea with light body and good aftertaste.Notes of lychee and fig.Medium sweetness with an existent nose all the time.

A very enjoyable wine at this moment although i think it will be better in the future.Full-bodied wine with firm tannins and good acidity.An opaque purple color gives the impression of a very young wine.Lots of black fruits,berries with notes of moccha,spices,milk,meat,tobacco.I will try it in a few years.

This Pomerol has an explosive nose with milk,butter,meaty notes,cedar.
It is mature with garnet color and soft tannins and i think that was the right time to drink it up.Medium bodied with sort finish and small aftertaste.Very enjoyable...

Crimson color, smooth entry high and well made tannins. Full-bodied with chocolate, coffee and vanilla. . It has long finish and a very nice aftertaste. That was an ideal companion for a ''coq au vin'' from the country of Greece. It was my last bottle and i like it a lot.

After 24 hours opened it is still very nice. Leather, red berries marmelade with tannins still present and good aftertaste.

The bottle was opened for my name day. I think that was the ideal moment for this and there is not anything to win from further cellaring.Explosive nose even after 2-3 hours with medium++ body and medium aftertaste.Maybe 2-3 years before was much better but it was very enjoyable.Spicy,herbs red fruits and sweetness all time.I think that was a good choice.

The wine was already to drink but it needs 60 minutes decanting to open its nose.Garnet color with medium legs.It smells like cherry and coffee.The taste reminds cherry, and plum.Medium bodied with polished texture.Medium finish -good aftertaste.

This is a great wine.It has garnet color and a nose full of blackberry, cherry, vanilla, and black currant (cassis).Mouth is also full of black currant (cassis), blackberry, and vanilla.Medium-full bodied with an excellent balance.The silky texture gives an extra elegance while it finishes long with a very long aftertaste. I think that 3-5 years from now will improve it.Great wine-great effort.
