great to open and drink right away! Tannins are still there.. Not overpowering but i would not suggest to decant it..

Really weird.. First when open we all got the smell of the bottle being corked and undrinkable.. Left it over night and tried it for fun and the cork smell had faded a little on the smell but was still there.. But in the mouth and after taste had evolved and was quite pleasing..

From the start when i drank it, it was wonderfull. then after a while.. "dont know if i ate something bad" it turned out tasting way to much alcohol and un balanced.

Had at Stapferstube in Zurich. Dark ruby color. opened up pretty quick from decanter in about 30 min. Spicy with hints of vanilla. long finnish. Good to drink now but can easy be drunk over the next 10 years.

Had a few of these now and have rated them at 91 points almost every time. Light color.. medium body. still a little closed up but after a few hours of decanting it opens up. No really hurry to drink all your bottles up.

Tasted blind. Very robust and big smell. alot of oak. during the 3 hours we drank it the aromas changed alot... by the end it tasted amazing. great bottle of wine. drink now or wait.

Ive had 5-6 different vintages now from tignanello and the 2005 is the one i have liked the least. nose was nothing speciall but the mid pallet and the finnished was good.
