Arbe Garbe is rumored to bring good luck. This is my 2nd bottle and the first did indeed bring me good luck. Let's see what happens this time.

Breathe in the dried apricot. Slurp the mixed stone fruit. Linger with the candied orange peel.

Biscotti on the nose. A stream of strawberry-beat juice quickly flowing down a culvert of unsweetened Pez leaving behind a thin patina of tannin.

That's a big ol' fruity syrah.

A little overboard on the green apple/lime for my taste.

A delicious blueberry muffin - supersweet blueberry nose, deeper black fruit drinks all the way through, with surprisingly substantive feel for such an un-tannic finish.

Badly corked. Smelled like magic marker. Tastes of the unmentionable.

Nice value wine. What you smell is what you get...grilled plums, walnuts, vanilla, finishing with some mid-tongue spice

Interesting lightness for a Nebbiolo...like drinking strawberry jolly ranchers without the sugar.
White - Sweet/Dessert

Nose: orange blossom and simple syrup

Starts very sweet and fades to hints of light ginger beer and Dr. Pepper.

It's enjoyable but lacks any strong personality. It should keep well for a year or so but won't benefit from a rest.

Not one of those Barolos to store, decant, etc. But what do you expect for the price? This is nebbiolo for those days you can't afford nebbiolo.
Red
Nose of blackberry preserves fading to diesel.

Drinking is like eating a black cherry and then sucking on the pit, which I enjoy. It’s fruit forward that ends with a touch of bitter, almost cocoa.

Nice and refreshing. Sweeter than I expected. Tart pineapple.

Smells of alcohol-soaked plums.
Interesting figs and finishes with a tiny bit of cola, made "fizzy" by the tannins.

A good bottle of wine for watching a movie - when your mind is on something else. Nothing demands savoring, but each sip is enjoyable.
