Quite nice soft berry flavours and floral aromas, with sufficient acidity and soft tannins. Drinking well now, and should continue to do so for a few years at the least. But not a long term keeper if cellar space is at a premium. Solid QPR, especially for Bordeaux.

After 3hr decant, surprisingly good for a cru bourgeois at this price. Solid wine, with lovely fruits and sufficient acidity. Though it is vinified for early consumption- drink now or hold several years

Way too young, but I needed to gauge its potential over several days. Characteristic Rhône aromas, with ripe berry fruits, a bit of cocoa, and attractive herbal notes on the finish. Solid QPR for Northern Rhône. Hold for another year or two at the very least before trying the next bottle.

Quite a lovely Syrah, with plenty of berry fruits, a bit of cocoa and spice, and with considerable length and nice acidity. No intrusive oak, stays true to the N. Rhône style. Drink now or hold several years, likely will improve over the medium term.

Decanted 3 hrs- a lovely Margaux, especially at this price. Plenty of fruit remains, with maturing tannins, long finish. Drink up within the next few years

Lovely in its youth, but should improve with a few years more in the cellar. Try again in a year or two.
