Deep ruby red with moderate sediment, this magnum was 5-10 years from maturity.
Spectacular expressive nose of cigar box, black cherry and red berries.

Magnum format was a bit tight, but 750s will see maturity imminently.
99 point nose + 94 point mouthfeel.

Deep ruby with minimal sediment, this wine is mature.
Exhilarating nose of dark fruit, raspberry and chocolate.

We both agreed 98 is the appropriate score.
Easily on par with the best Bordeaux, the finish lasts a minute.

If a date, this was a 35 year old Harvard-educated executive who collects lingerie and loves pleasure.
20 years of intense pleasure ahead.
Still one of my favorite red wines anywhere.

Fully mature with moderate sediment, this wine is fully mature.
Brooding comes to mind when I recall deep prunes, cherry and dark fruits on a dark chocolate stage.
Wine continued to improve throughout dinner, suggesting extended decanting will be rewarded
Currently at it's apogee, Napa's premier Bordeaux blend easily has 5-10 years of scintillating drinking ahead.
Easily our favorite wine of 2021 (thus far).

Deep ruby with moderate sediment, this BV is fully mature, but with 5-10 years of wonder ahead.

If a date, this was a 30 year old recently retired porn star: Gorgeous and experienced, but independent and demanding respect while earning awe and admiration.

Another 5-10 years of outstanding enjoyment ahead.

I've been a huge fan Of Duckhorn's Napa Merlot for 2 decades but this is a distant unrelated cousin.

Medicinal + herbal disjointed nose with thin core.

If a date, this was a Tuesday night bar find with promising pedigree who, upon arriving back to your place, turns out to be a tranny.

Not worthy: There are dozens of superior $10 wines out there so don't waste time & $.
