I have had several Touraine SBs and this was outstanding. Great balance of flint and mineral notes with touches of tropical fruit. Will certainly try to find more.

Felt plain and linear. Was expecting more earth and dimensions from a 1er cru. It was good, just not up to expectations.

Drinking amazingly well. Don’t wait too long. Everything in balance. Probably my favorite of KB’s single vineyard offerings.

Corked had leaked and had strong VA notes. Nothing like the other bottles which were excellent. Bummer.

The one didn’t resonate for me. While no obvious fault, it had a generally sour note. Tasted with 7 people and all were meh. Wouldn’t put toes back in this pond.

Still kicking. Deep straw color but still enjoyable. Paired with spicy Indian food and it was great. A hint of petrol, but stone fruit flavors still present.

Good QPR, approachable, with a touch more interesting flavors than your standard Chianti style wine. Will certainly get again. Paired with Caesar salad, pasta, red sauce and meatballs.

Solid offering. Decanted around 1 hr and served around 60F. Served to group of 4 and all were please. Reminds me a bit of Nebbiolo from Roero, with a lighter but approachable characteristic. I will try to find more.

Amazing Moscato. Not normally my favorite category, but this is done right. Balanced and fruit expressive. Bottle is a silly design, but what is inside will amaze.

Really beautiful. Full, plush but the green pepper notes hidden within. Amazing with lasagne. Envision a big Loire Cab Franc

Amazing. I haven’t had a ton of Puligny Montrachet, but compared to other Chardonnay this was outstanding. Full bodied but still had an amazing acid finish. Stellar.

While this wine was solid, not sure it deserved the ratings from WE and RP. Old world funk up front and more cherry fruit expression on back end. It was good, just not worth the $ and ratings.

Second bottle with consistent results. Also tried at winery. Balanced fruit to acid. Not so heavy cola flavors as some other producers in the area. Red cherries and touch of almond notes. Paired with Iberico pork shoulder.

Very beautiful. Shared with a few friends and similar opinions. Cherry fruit is the star of the show but the total package is integrated. I’m excited to try their reserve offerings if the basic estate is drinking this well.

Served this to a group of 10. Very well received. Decanted for 1 hr. Integrated tannins and solid minerality. I personally don’t think the structure of this wine is built for the long haul. I would drink in the next 2 years or so personally.

Amazing Ruche. For me, ruche is a great zone between Nebbiolo and Chianti. Can pair well with light tomato based dishes. Tart red fruits.

Love this wine. Layered and complex. Decanted for about 2hrs. Served at 65F. Prune and cassis notes with leather hints. A powerhouse wine at this price point. Tannins are generous for the partial Cabernet Sauvignon percentage and would pair well with leaner steaks very well (filet, strip, etc.). Fwiw, I feel the 2018 wines from Jumilla might be even a touch better.

Solid medium bodied red offering from Languedoc. What sets this apart from the multitudes from that area is the producer, pepper finish, and acidity. Great QPR on Bertrand products in general, this is no exception.

Very solid sparkling offering from South Africa. Organic and biodynamically farmed. Lees contact shows a smooth finish, and while dry, it’s not overwhelming. Would easily put this up against the hordes of mid ranged Champagne. Fantastic.

Full bodied white from Napa using Italian varietals. Grassy and thick, reminds me of Roussanne. Enjoyed the wine, but expect full bodied whote. Not sure I agree with the press on this one, especially at this price. I think it got 96 from Enthusiast.

Solid Willamette Pinot Noir. Raspberry and tart cherry. Herbal and flower notes. Peppy acidity is and well integrated tannins due to partial whole cluster press. Very solid.

No faults detected. This wine felt muted without much expression. I am normally a Perrin Fan, but this missed the mark for me. Served with Mongolian beef and chicken fried rice, perhaps the pairing was off.
