Best Oregon pinot I've had so far. Rich and delicate. Silky tannins and a winding road finish. Put one in the cellar for later, can't wait to drink it.

Dark purple in color, this 2011 Petite Sirah shows aromas shows black rapsberry, dark cherry compote, blackstrap molasses, toasted cedar plank, and sweet leather. The flavors start sweet and then get darker on the finish. This blend starts with blueberry pie, blackberry, sweet cinnamon, fresh fig, and fire roasted poblano chilies then finishes with molasses, smoky oak, savory Mexican oregano, and dried black cherry.

Los Carneros Scintilla Vineyard...8 years later, this pinot displays an orange rim fading to tawny. Still has a nose that pops with fruit. Big body for pinot long finish. This wine was originally 45 dollars, I got it on close out sale for 9 bucks. Their 2006 syrah is also amazing.Unfortunately the winery closed in December 2012.

Nice bold cabernet. My first Knights Valley AVA, I look forward to more. Inky deep color followed with satin plums, blackberry and warm blueberry pie. Hints of smoke wet river rocks chased with raspberries melting on your tongue. Not gonna lie when I hear Beringer I used to think white zin cheapo wine, after studying I now know the the detail and quality of the product and I appreciate the liquid outcome. Well done Mt Helena.

This is an amazing wine. Too bad its going out of business. I met the rep in Maui, as a wine buyer for a high end restaurant I bought all I could. It sold well, especially the Pinot. The bottle I bought tonight was showing red on top of the cork, luckily they let me return it, glad I did. Great wine. Go buy it before its all gone!

I was given this wine by a regular customer that wasn't impressed. I enjoyed it but not that much ( restaurant retail 90 ) I would not have guessed it to be Turley, I thought it was similar to Turley Sinsault , grape soda smoke finish light on the finish medium body. I'd say 86 plus 2 for being Turley.

Reveals a deep, layered bouquet of black cherry, licorice, black currant, blueberry pie, combined with chocolate, vanilla, coffee, black tea, subtle spicy notes of cloves and cinnamon and its distinctive touch. The complexity and intense character continue into the finish with a huge mouthfeel, crazy long finish, This vino left my palate wanting more, round awesomness, silky tannins.
