Young and vibrant. Structure to go long but no harm in drinking now.

Nice profile, good fruit, acid and tannins are well in play. Can use more air and time but with right meal it goes well. No decant.
Red
No decant but this had great structure and fruit. Tannins are integrating well and showing this has the stuffing for going long.

7 years since my last bottle. About a 40min decant. Fruit and flavor held up and consistent with prior bottle. Tannins were present but the edges were rounded now. Body and finish were lesser than expected. Perhaps that’s indicative of the vintage. Glad to have waited as patience was worth it but I’d like to try this from a stronger vintage.

Fully mature and ready. Amazing balance of primary and secondary scents, flavors and body. This had it all. Grateful I had it and had the time to let it eek out some more life to push all that.

Drank with JRG.

Decanted 30min. Great profile of dark cherries, blueberries, graphite, cedar, and leather. Tannins were solid but not dominant.

Juicy, with bright red fruits and nice acidity. Has some undertones of forest floor on the nose that carries forward with the fruit on the palate.

Delicious. Great spot and excellent QPR for a Momtefaclo Sag. Could last longer with tannic structure by why wait?

Delicious. In a wonderful place. The fruit, acid, flavor profile and tannic structure are in an excellent place. If you have this start drinking it.

Drinking wonderfully right now. Decanted for about 40min. Still some velvety tannins but this added to a nice long finish. Great scents of bitter chocolate, cigar box, blueberry and dark cherries. Good layering of cedar too

Decanted 3+ hours. Delicious and strong but enjoyable tannins (YMMV). Could still use more time given it had more to open even with the decant time. Bitter chocolate, espresso, blackberries.
Red
3 out of 4 bottles from purchase. This has not gotten better. Dull, acidic and borderline vinegar.

I found it tight and a little green. Not one of the better Neal's I have had and I love Neal. Was served blind and everyone else was very positive on it and thought it had life ahead of it. My palate may have been shot by this point in the tasting.

Ethereal. Decanted 2 hours and this was one of, if not the, best Barolos I've ever had. Certainly an epic for Conterno, which says a lot of positive for me. Classic Barolo flavors but amazing secondary characteristics have framed those.

Lemon quince, sage, herbs de provenance, grapefruit. A touch of salted butter with a zing of acid making for a vervy finish. A nice welcome party to Meursault.

Last note holds but wow have the tannins integrated. No decant either. This was delectable and paired well with a sausage pasta in a thicker bolognese sauce, and a pizza.

Another 18mo since last bottle has done this well. More iIntegrated, red berries and flowers now coming through with some nutmeg and cinnamon notes. A little spice and pepper on finish with nice acidity but definitely has softened some edges since last bottle.
Red
Yorgos note is accurate. A nice QPR drinker. Great freshness too.

Seemed tight. Hard to get a sense of the fruit beyond the acidity and citrus juice. Liked the crisp medium finish but lacking a little more expressive fruit on the midpalate.

One of the best Oregon pinots I have had. All going on well. Love the earthy undertones that are more pronounced than Cali. Rhys for Cali gets this. This is great stuff

Big wine. Powerful tannins. All the greatness that Neal delivers. Has much life left but is still good now with a fatty steak to cut through the tannins.

Good quality and classic kabinett. Good classic citrus and orchard fruits. Not the Mosel petrol nose but delectable nonetheless.

Last bottle of a 3 pack. It was fantastic and better than the first but had years ahead of it. Still was amazingly enjoyable with grilled steaks

Acid and fruit are still there but it's a little muddled perhaps a tad over the hill.

Wonderful aromatics and all the classic smells and tastes of a Barolo. Just so much pleasure. Love the acid and tannin interplay. Tannins nicely integrated with acid of ripe cherries. Decanted about 1h+

Prior tasting notes are spot on. This is juicy and crisp acid with great bright red berry fruit and nice earthy undertones. No jammy fruit to speak about.
Red
Dried raspberries, mulberry, iron, blood, iodine, mushrooms, forest floor. Soft tannins on finish but acid weaved throughout. Bricking. Drink'em. No decant.

$10. Excellent QPR.

Similar to last note with more anise, menthol and white pepper coming through. Very tasty.

Spicy sweet red berries with a hint of anise and forest floor. Ripeness is there but still well balanced.

Checked in on this. Dark cherries with some tart cranberries and forest floor and tree bark. Spices galore. Prominent tannins with a big burst of finishing acidity. Pleasurable but still slumbering.

Isaac's note is 100% accurate.

Meaty with cherries and wood. Little underlying funk that detracts from some of the freshness.

Fantastic. Tobacco leaf, cedar, blue fruits and blackberries. Decanted 2+ hours. Can age much longer but with a decant and good food it's ready roll.

Drank on a whim and PnP. Lovely. Great Pinot favors with that nice Beaune undertone of earth and forest floor with mulberries.

Really nice BdB. Apple, lemon, toast with a nice chalkiness on finish
White - Sparkling
Marzipan and lemon. Nice but lacking something given the price.
Red
Good upfront dusty cherry and leather. Astringent smokey finish. Needs more time even though this was decanted 30+ minutes it never really softened.
