Wine is dense red with amazing bouquet of blackberries, one and subtle Cassis and on the pallet it’s rich, dance full bodied and vibrant with very lively acidity, earthiness, still with abundant black fruit particularly plum and overtones of tobacco and dark earth. Would definitely buy more!

Opened another bottle one year after my original tasting. Again excellent example of the Oregon Pinot
Wet earth, lavender, floral with a bit of rose petals and stewed strawberry on the nose, on the pallet soft lush read through student nature, mocha tobacco ash lavender and gentle spice with soft hands. Super Pinot would buy more!

Beautifully orange car with nuts Apple subtle para scotch nuances, full-bodied get soft flavors jump out of the glass super acidity
Excellent Wine deserves a much better reputation glad I have more bottles should be shipped and savored

Still love it! Noted two years ago that this is a excellent one and I agree. Now all tertiary flavors, very aromatic with charcoal, tobacco, tobacco, no fruit minimal spice still with heat on the nose, on the pallet charcoal tobacco complexity richness whatever long finish really excellent one!

Bricking obvious, nose cherry cola, more cola, slightly burnt toast with blackberry blackcurrant dark cherry, also some licorice.
Palette: moderate acidity, very structured palate in keeping with nose with cola mushroom moist earth dark and fruit even some plum
Assessment is this is an excellent California Pinot with some age, now nine years old. Wish I had more bottles!

Lovely bouque with cherry, wet earth, seductive wood and tobacco..lingers.. palate is rich, layered and soft silk tannins..lingers..truly super!! Wish I had more !!! This is true Volnay..beginning to understand the aromatic and soft nature of this wine!!

Wow! Addendum to prior note.
Opened up After about 45 minutes. Beautiful bouquet, moist earth and then cedar and then mushroom always dominated by the earth. There is no fruit. Earth, earth, cedar, beautiful on the pallet!

Super nice sparkler,clear yellow with lots of tight bubbles, lively and bouquet jumps out... mineral and yeast, palate yeast and surprisingly with full body, great acidity, some lemon.. nice alternative to Prosecco and is as good as many champagnes
