Less than 8% ABV but some late harvest significant RS. Paired with some appropriate deserts, this can be a lot of fun.

We took this bottle to Dundee Bistro tonight. A delightful Chardonnay on the patio on a perfect early fall evening. A bit of toast and smoke upon opening. Loads of lemon and a tad of lime which with more air lead to yellow apple. A wonderful cuvee’ that should be great for several more years.

We took this bottle to Trellis last night and served blind to a good friend alongside a 16 Prive' PN. The Shea initially showed some fizz and was somewhat cola like. With an hour of air it settled down into a delightful drinking experience and an outstanding pairing with the short rib dish. A bold and masculine Oregon Pinot (which was apparent next to the Prive'). Nice dark berry fruits and a bit of underbrush. Fun!

Seemed almost like it was Sauv Blan orientated upon opening with some herbal, grassy notes but I don’t believe there actually was any SB at all. A fun, easy drinking white. Possibly a bit of RS on the finish. I would love to know the blend.

From Magnum. Initial fruit has subsided and this Pinot seems to be drinking in a middle ground now with some earth, spice, and rustic elements prevailing at this time. A somewhat masculine Pinot but still maintaining some elegance. A nice, mature, Cali Pinot Noir.

Wonderful finesse and impact/interest in this beautiful Pinot. Earthy nose with dusty cranberries. Additional red fruits, minerals, tea, and citrus peal on the palate. Excellent acidity with a moderate finish. This was my first try of a Senses Pinot and it was awesome.

This Chardonnay continues to impress and deliver for me. This time it was a Friday Happy Hour sipper by the pool and it was delightful.

This was a lovely Pinot drinking in a great spot last night! We chose it to celebrate our anniversary last night outside at Table 34. Nice, rustic, earthy nose. The palate showed more of the same with orange peel, tea, and some dusty cranberry. While this will no doubt go longer in the cellar I think it is pretty ideal now.

Beautiful tart cherry, spice, and a tad of earth. I also got some eucalyptus on the nose early on. A well crafted wine from a great vineyard drinking quite nicely now.

A standout Rose' from this recent vintage. We enjoyed this bottle of a friends boat on a very hot summer day.

Wonderful elegance and a solid pairing with a smoked port tenderloin tonight. Old world restraint with a California sunshine. It actually reminded us of some of the Evesham Wood Pinot's of Oregon... which is definitely good. I got red fruits, like strawberry and cranberry with a strawberry cream bit. Admirable for the finesse with substance.

Opened our first of 4 today for the Wolfpack Zoom tasting yesterday with Ken, Erica, Jess, and vineyard owner Craig W. Consumed over 5 hours as we saved a bit to pair with scallops over a corn, shiitake, and roasted red pepper bed. We also enjoyed the last bit alongside a 16 Liquid Farm Golden Slope Chard and a 16 Drouhin 1st Cru. The X-novo is truly special with a bit of reduction upon opening with a struck match note. Citrus, mineral notes, and a bit of a saline note... bring on the oysters! My favorite of the Chardonnay trio and my favorite with the scallops noting the brineyness. I believe the best days for this young white are well down the road but it was fun to taste yesterday

Had these tasty Chardonnay last night alongside a X-Novo Chard from Walter Scott and a 1st Cru Drouhin Bourg. All wines were opened to pair and contrast with scallops over a corn, shiitake, and roasted red pepper bed. The LF GS was the roundest of the trio showing Carmel and lemon cream notes. Solid acidity which made this finish well. Nice stuff

A tad reductive upon opening with some vanilla, smoke, and toast that all seemed to disapate with air. After about 20 minutes this bottle really settled into a nice spot. There was still some oak presence but balanced by some pear, golden apple, and plenty of acidity. This was a well chosen match for salmon with a tomato, shallot, champagne vinegar topping sauce. Delicious!

Nice bright restraint in this very pale color Rose'. Nice minerals with stone fruit elements and faint strawberry. This might be my favorite Rose of the season. A great match with the smoked salmon app we had.

Still pretty young tasting with prominent Oak upon opening. With an out of air it settled into a very nice drinking experience and was a great pairing with homemade smoked pork cheddar bbq burgers with house slaw.

While my love for Pinot Noir has only increased since buying this bottle 11 or so years ago my palate has evolved to appreciate a bit more feminine and more restrained style. That being said I was a bit apprehensive to dive into this bottling knowing the ABV and pedigree. We chose it tonight for National Pinot Noir Day and to pair with homemade grilled burgers and it proved quite delightful and drinkable. Make no mistake, this is a full throttle PN that reminded me of a new world Grenache/Syrah Blend but it did drink younger and fresher than the years suggest and was a great match for the grilled burger. Time after time, the Foxen boys make great wines even when ripeness might prevail. Dark fruited with solid tannin for Pinot. No real evidence of the higher than average alcohol and enough acidity to balance it out. Pretty solid with some years ahead if you appreciate age on your new world, big, pinot noirs.

A touch of oak presence but with enough fresh citrus, minerals, and acidity to make it work. Maybe it was elevated for me due to the fantastic pairing with salmon corn chowder.

My wife poured this blind for some friends and I last night on the patio at Trellis in Dundee. Quite impressive and the bottle that went the quickest among some other tasty top notch Willamette Chardonnays. A tad reductive upon opening with lots of fresh lemon, some minerals, and nice acidity. Fantastic!

My wife poured this blind for some friends and I last night at Trellis in Dundee and it was great! Definitely shows a bit more old world than domestic and was terrific with the roast chicken and risotto. Drank it alongside a couple other Willamette Chardonnays and it was as appreciable as any. Probably need to buy a bunch more.

Tons of interest in this terrific Pinot. Red fruits transition to cherry cola to darker cherry across the palate. A finishing element of toffee or almost Nutella. Plenty of presence with the velvet glove that is Pinot Noir. I could see this being a nice Filet or other lean steak wine.

My favorite of the Durant Pinot's of the last year and quite delicious. A delicate, feminine nose of red fruits and a bit of herb. More red fruits on the palate with plenty of acidity on the finish. Awesome!

A very wild nose of eucalyptus, spice, iron, earth and a bit of red fruits. The palate had a slightly rustic, game blood, savory, strawberry feel. Finish was mildly lengthy with ample acidity. A very dimensional and interesting Dundee Pinot Noir that really delivered an experience this evening.

A fine single vineyard Dundee Hills Chardonnay that was a bit rounder than some of its other AVA peers. A nice pairing with grilled pork loin tonight but a somewhat lack of precision kept me from rating it higher.

We sipped this over the course of three evenings this time and it was definitely best on night one with some air. While still holding up a day or two later it was losing some of this blends charm. I agree with the drink dates on here of 17-22
