Found the nose to be soft. You could get a wiff of typical Howell Mountain fruit on the nose, but faint. Decanted for 2 hours, cork was absolutely destroyed. Found the wine to be very soft with lite tannins.

After 24 years still had a amazing nose, body was soft but just the right amount of tannins. Drank with my girl @ Park Grill Chicago.

I liked this wine. Good aromas coming off the glass, felt like some chewiness on the back bone. for some reason i remember this wine being more acidic and stronger finish

forgot about this in the cellar and it is only 1 of a hand full of zinfandels i have. i have to say that this wine was really really good. Aromas of this wine were great, big and lucy, pulls to the front of the palate. nice chewy tannins with some good spice and a little tar to it. wish i had another

Think I waited a year to long. All around, I liked this wine. The nose was very nice but the body lacked some fruit. Had that rutherford dusty tannins to it but just felt like something was missing. I love BV and will continue to drink their wines. I think '05 was a off year to begin with.

I enjoyed this wine but was also a little disappointed in it. Maybe I opened it a little to early but even after decanting for a hr or two. I always felt like it was missing something. Again wish I had a extra to try in maybe 2-4 years. All in all a nice bottle of wine.

I like only a select few RRV Pinot Noirs but this wine my have changed my mind. I really the enjoyed this wine, but the only down side is that I only bought 1 bottle :(

This is a great value sparkling wine. I am a fan of Torrontes to begin with, so naturally I feel in love with this. Perfect for summertime, sitting outside. Nice notes of peaches & apricots, with a nice touch of rs on the end. Highly recommend

Amazing wine. Decanted it for little over a hour. Need more time but I didn't care. Each glass got better & better as time passed. Beautiful nose. Nice dark fruit, with a little hint of tobacco, tannins were little tight as well as the acidity but again needed more time to open. That's why I also bought 2 bottles. Damn good wine!
