full body cab that opened up nicely after 2 hours decanting.
The wine looks ruby colored.

I score this one a 92 because it opened up nicely, but also because of the price point being below $50. This was the favorite of the group in a three bottle tasting between 2009 Kosta Browne Pinor Noir Russian River and 2009 Coho Headwaters.

As noted, lot of sediment at neck. Very fruitful cab that is not to dark and rich.

There were only 195 cases for it's debut. The first wine produced by Rex Pickett (author of Sideways) who collaborated with Oregon winemakers Drew Voit and Darcy Pendergrass.

Very light in color. Easy finish. Very fruity with dominant raspberry. Not a bad wine for the summer - and his first one at that.

Blackberry and fig with a smooth finish. Liked the 2001 better and waiting another year before drinking the 2004. I would drink in the next year.

Decanted for two hours. Very smooth with ripe raspberry. Was very pleased with this bottle and feel it is hitting it's stride.

I don't write this lightly, but this is one of the worse wines I have had. I thought it might be a bad bottle, but then opened a second a few weeks later with same result. I would highly recommend not getting this wine. Great disappointment and waste of money.

Dark cherries with some spice. Pretty decent cab for the price range. Not sure I would wait much longer on this one.

Very deep purple, strong nose, and full finish. Got this bottle at auction for $40 and worth it. At $80 as advertised, I would pass.

A very pleasant, fruitful wine. Probably need to drink my last bottle in the next 12 months.

A good, consistent tannin from open to final consumption after 3 hours.

I let this decant for 1.5 hours. Cherries and black licorice with a slight vanilla finish. Drinks 86 put I give it an 88 overall since it only costs $15/bottle. If you are looking for a cost effective but decent wine for an event or social gathering, this is a good option.
The wine looks Garnet colored. The legs are Fast. It smells like Cherry, and Plum. The body is Medium/Full. The wine finishes Short.

Decanted for two hours. A bit acidic with cherry being the stronger fruit with blackberry/plum hints. After four hours, this started to hum and find it's meaning. This wine is not bad for the price - and you get a totally different perspective from Spain which is nice to rotate in from time to time. Let it decant for several hours and you won't regret it.

Decanted for three hours. Just not feeling this one, especially at the $40 mark. Maybe a little more time will help this one a bit.
