7/31/13, 5:56 AM - I'd say it is pretty far along - no drying from the tannins, secondary flavours are rich, acidity is under control. I've opened 4 bottles recently - 3 of them were at the front end of a long peak (drinking well but with several years left), one was past its prime. If I had 2 I'd open 1 in the next 12 months, then the second in 3-4 years.
