This was a surprise. Not as earthy or woody as other Syrahs. This was inky and very rich. Thoroughly enjoyed.

Drank at The Basin in Saratoga. Had it along a mushroom rigatoni. The pasta was woody and the wine was a perfect complement. Thoroughly enjoyed.
