Massive. Bright candy-coated nose. Rich cherry cola, with quietly firm tannins. Wish I had more! (At least I do have other vintages of their Roosevelt offering.)

    11/2/18, 5:19 PM - Full-bodied, like heavy silk.

Red
2009 Cana's Feast Winery Cabernet Franc Columbia Valley
This paired perfectly with a vegetable chicken tortilla soup (Gubancs Restaurant, Portland recipe). There is enough fruit and tannin to age at least to 2018.

11/26/16, 5:55 PM - I admit I find it somewhat curious that you said both that it was "past its prime" back in May, and then that "[t]here is enough fruit and tannin to age at least to 2018" in September.

Still wonderful. Definitely mellowed, but still not meek. A earthy, green peppery nose now, backed up by rich cherry cola, vanilla and pepper, and a smooth solid finish.

11/7/16, 4:25 PM - As far as what kind of life it's still got, let me put it this way ... I have four bottles left, and I wasn't planning to open another one for a least a couple of months. :-) I think it's fair to say it's got at least another year.

Still magnificent. Slightly "darker" now, I believe.

1/13/13, 6:09 PM - Absolutely still drinking strong. Definitely changed since the last time I tried it, but just different, certainly not worse.
