Another classic Mouton nose. First glass drank well and nicely balanced. Surprise after 1.30hrs the nose completely changed, more refreshed and seemed younger than firstly opened. Just matured and perfect drinking right now.

Big, chunky and needed decanting over the hours. Full bodied and tons of fruit. Over 2 hrs developed nicely, smoother and dominated by a creamy milky vanilla scent. Very long finish. Great wine for its price

Way too young. Opened because this was a faulty bottle in some way that the wine was right down to the neck of the bottle and a good glass was gone. Has good potential in the future. Sleeping right now and didnt show much fruit on the nose or palate

Wine showing a lot of age. Orange rim and still show a good fruity nose. On the palate very little fruits left but very smooth. Shortish finish and the wine died in the glass very quickly. Past its peak now

Opened in bottle for about 2.30hrs....tasted this bottle blind against 88 Mouton & 88 haut Brion. Almost everyone though this bottle was either a new world or a modern style old world. Somewhat less mouton nose characteristics, nose very clean. Good fruits, coffee and slight caramels. Nice long finish

Opened for about 1.30 hours before consuming along with all 2003 Ducru Beaucaillou / Montrose / Pavie / Les Forts de Latour / Gruaud Larose & 2002 Cristal. First sniff, this is not the typical Cos, all the usual mud soil smell was not present. However, still not at full potential but had good cherries, leather, spices and slight vanilla. Superb on the palate, very well balanced, lush ripe dark fruits and a minty spicy long finish. Superb wine from Cos and looking forward to try out the remaining 2 bottles with more age.

Opened in bottle for about 45 minutes before serving. Started off with strong scents of cherry. Nicely balanced wine with moderate tannins. After 2 hours or so it faded quite a lot compared to the other bottles of Leoville Barton / Calon Segur and Valandraud. Second day left over show little smell but nice cherry on the palate. Some way off the 1st label.

1st sniff and you could tell this was a new world pinot. 1st day did not show much at all, rather closed and muted. 2nd day opened up a lot more, nose opened up more with cherries and slight rose petals. more rounded, good mouthwatering cherries and a good finish. not great but not bad

Opened 2 hours before drinking. Even after 2 hours still very closed. After 4 hours started to show a little more. Came to its best the next day. Light pinkish purple in colour. Nice nose filled with rose petals, strawberries and cherries. In the mouth very clean but lacking fruits but acceptable, nicely rounded and nice mouth watering 40+ second finish. Should develop more after more bottle time.

Opened and left in bottle for 4 hours before serving. Nice dark red colour but pretty much closed with slight fruits. Chunky and still some tannins. The next day, was much better with more cherrie and smoke on the nose. More fruits and less tannins, better than day 1.
