2 hour decant. This wine has really mellowed with 12 years of age. Has edges that are downy pillow soft. Great fruit and enough core to support the lush frame. All tannins resolved. Still a beauty.
I see there is plenty in cellars right now. It's in a good place, so why not drink sooner than later. Don't see a reason to hold too much longer. One left in my own cellar and it will be gone within the next five.

World Cup Final (Domaine Wine Storage - Chicago, IL): I hadn't had this in a while, and I really like where this is heading. The aromas were gorgeous; some damp earth, red floral notes, crushed stones, and red berries. The juiciness of the vintage is still there, but the fruit seemed to have more of an earthy edge this time around. Love the direction this is headed.
