Perfect on a beautiful late Summer evening! Excellent floral immediately upon decant. With a few hours of opening, it was truly what I expected from an aged 2010 Brunello. Not quite as earthy as I hoped, but really improved over a few hours. Am now excited to try the Magnums!

Probably the best Barbera I have ever tasted! It continues to deliver after one decade with silky smooth texture and great floral aromas. Really nice. I am so impressed with Producer variations and Sottimano is clearly one of the very best.

Drinkable, but totally flat with no real flavors and quite thin all around. Great table vino for a nice Summer evening, but very simple.

OK, yes a nice Brunello with an incredible floral immediately upon opening. BUT.....even with some decanting it did not deliver that chalky Earth classic taste that I equate with Brunello perfection. Was frankly just a nice table vino for this experience.

Ten years of aging? PERFECT! This Brunello is finally in a great place. Lucious, floral, earthy tones. It's really a nice drinkable vino that gives you exactly what you want it to be.

Like it, but it was NOT amazing as I had anticipated. Some floral, not lucious. Am worried that it will not develop further. Almost tannic in some way. Could be a LONG road to turn it into something incredible, but hey its worth the gamble.

Well, it was stunningly PERFECT for a Modified COVID Wedding Celebration!! There was one comment that it has "aged a bit much" but perhaps my storage for the past decade was less than perfect. I found just a hint of floral with the exact sweetness with every drop to be treasured. Truly a moment that will always be remembered.

Malbec grapes grown in Sonoma, CA then mixed in a VAT in Colorado does not portend a great outcome. UNDRINKABLE!

Love this Producer; love this Barbera. It is truly very good after a decade of aging. Just enough fruit and floral to really make it a totally enjoyable dinner vino that goes with many options.

Dark? Racy? yeah this vino does not wow me in any way whatsoever. Rather unfortunate. 2008 was not a great year for Brunello. Has some floral upon opening and decant but does not hold for long. I found it to still be a bit tannic with acidic tar leather tones. I absolutely love Brunello but never got the chalky Earth taste toward which I am biased. Maybe time will help here, but I'm not optimistic.

My parents have been drinking bottles of this with friends as their table vino. It always gets +++ reviews, but I'm still out there. Tasted best to me after a few days in the fridge when it seemed OK. Still had some sediment, but just never came together the way that I had hoped.

Under the radar, deliciously smooth Alba that ages quite well. I really enjoy this Barbera especially after a week in the fridge. Seriously, it is a very well made vino.

The Last Soldier in my Collection! It will be sorely missed. Every bottle was perfection. Decant of only 30 minutes brought out the best. A little sediment that I didn't expect in this bottle, but savor every drop. You will appreciate the beauty of this Antinori Gem.

AGREE with my last note, exactly. This is a simple table vino that drinks well, but seems so "thin", almost watery, that you are surprised it is Nebbiolo.

LOVE IT! One of my very favorite wines in my entire collection. Is just the perfect Italian blend concocted by Antinori long before its time. It shines even better in 2020 with exceptional floral, limited sediment, silky and smooth. Treasure every bottle that you can find!

This does not age well. I can't believe that I still have 2 more bottles.... Musty, not a great floral. Frankly nothing positive except that's it a great wine to dump in a COVID pandemic.

Actually, MUCH better than I expected, even at such a young aged. Really nice Barolo with a limited decant. No sediment at all. Just simple and remarkably smooth tannins. Very enjoyable dinner vino.

Well, I liked it until I didn't. There must have been a TON of sediment at the bottom (like a huge pile of fall leaves!) that just flooded my glass at the end, even after decanting. Having said that, the initial floral was perfect and I really enjoyed the aged Nebbiolo for a few glasses.

Ok this vino survived SHEER HELL! I think I bought it at Trader Joe's in like 2006. Seriously. TJ's in SF! Now I'm in NJ drinking it in 2020. That's an impossible Journey. Hey, it's Brunello. Not the best showing.

A beautiful vino! Simple and earthy with that Montalcino chalk taste. Antinori always delivers. A very nice Brunello that has aged well and will continue to do so.

Absolutely LOVE this Antinori Masterpiece! It's everything you want and expect it to be. So perfect after 25+ years. Floral luscious dark ruby that is delightful immediately and even better with time. I suppose it's worth waiting all this time; perhaps there are no shortcuts In Real Life.

A delightful Riserva Brunello from a non-stellar vintage. Frankly it was perfect, just not exceptional. Great floral upon opening and limited sediment. The cork pulled easily and did not crumble. The wine improved upon a 24 hour decant. That wonderful trademark earthy chalky taste made it memorable moment.

The PERFECT XMAS dinner wine. Lucious blackberry, hints of floral, smooth texture. Improved over decant. Drank two bottles; one cork was exceptionally dry, but the wax seal saved the vino. While this might have been a "legendary vintage" for Jarvis with Dimitri at the helm, it did not live up to the lofty expectations I had anticipated. And frankly being 100% CAB, it was not Bordeaux like in any way. Alas, quite enjoyable, but I'm not sold on Jarvis completely.

An impossible DRY cork that absolutely crumbled even with a wax seal. The CAB was rich and floral with a just a hint of juice, but not stunning like I had hoped. A perfect bottle for a wonderful evening. Great way to begin the 2020s looking back to 1990.

It keeps improving! A delightfully PERFECT Brunello with everything you might expect. The immediate floral bouquet followed by that Tuscan chalk which brings back every moment you have every spent there and all those wonderful memories from two decades past. Enjoy this great producer.

Mixed reviews for me. Definitely better after a few days in the fridge. Definitely lots of high acidity tannins. Extremely robust and a great floral aroma. Dark leather + black olives describes it well. Am not sure if it will improve further, but heck its Barolo and another ten years might just do the trick.

Hard to separate fact from fiction, but I am consistently a LISINI SuperFan and this bottle once again proves its power. Soft and subtle with a chalk-like earthy texture, this Brunello will always be one of my favorites. And it really needs 20+ years to prove its real value.

Delightfully perfect in every way! Frankly, the only serious issue is getting the incredible hard cork out of the bottle...not kidding. But amazingly, it's just a tough seal and is not dry at the base. Lisini produces Top Class Brunello and while 1996 is not known as a good vintage, they delivered something for the ages here.

Give it a week in the fridge. Seriously. Completely luscious and floral upon opening, but really improves well with a looooong decant. Then it's the perfect Nebbiolo that you have always imagined.

It's LISINI! It's 23 year aged Brunello. It's immediately floral with a bouquet that fills the room. Frankly, it's hard to imagine how to imagine and it's EXACTLY why I began my Vino Journey almost 15 years ago. Hang on as long you can enjoy the ride.

Four years since my last tasting of this bottle/vintage. WOW. Frankly, did not really improve. Found it to be basic with limited floral. Dark luscious cherry but more tannic than I prefer. Kept it in the fridge for a week to see if it might improve and it did. Became more smooth. Suggest a very long decant, like days. Great table vino.

Not my favorite Torbido. Had tons of sediment but had a filter this time, Thank God! Unfortunately the vino was a bit flat, perhaps acidic. Not a great floral either. Just a nice table vino for this bottle. Frankly I won’t be buying any more Torbido!

WELL...after drilling out the exceptionally dry cork, then forgot my filter for the deluge of sediment.... a beautiful floral emerged quickly followed by lucious ruby red juice that frankly was quite delightful. Just had to leave a bit in the decanter due to the pound of unfiltered sediment. Always nice to enjoy a well aged Barbaresco!

PLUM! It was acceptable with lots of air and a 24 hour decant. Still slightly acidic. Ten years has not been enough time; could use another decade!

A bit thin with a very lite floral. Less sediment but clearly not as perfect as previous bottles unfortunately. Hopefully my last bottle will be a winner but expectations now set low.
