We had a vertical of 04, 06, 08 and 11. 06 was drinking the smoothest, best without food - but the 11 was overall the best balanced. 08 was the most tannic, but still drinking great. All four were great. Some nice subtle differences.

I am very impressed with this Gewurtz. I don’t understand how the average rating could be 85. Makes no sense. We have three more of this vintage, and one 2017. I have enjoyed the previous four bottles as well.

Had our first of 6 bottles. Tasting good now. Will be interesting to how it develops. Lighter type, which I like. Great fruit, cherries in particular.

Better than expected. Was not full bodied, unlike the label definition. Nicely balanced, some good fruit. It was better with cheese and crackers than it was with the coffee-rubbed steak.
