We had a vertical of 04, 06, 08 and 11. 06 was drinking the smoothest, best without food - but the 11 was overall the best balanced. 08 was the most tannic, but still drinking great. All four were great. Some nice subtle differences.

This took a long time to shake its nose to something palatable. In the end it was decent, but it needs a couple of hours at least.

Delicious. Drinking wonderful right now. Decanted for 2 hours. I was surprised it would drink so well right now. I have 5 more of these, but I won't hesitate to open another.

A predominance of Green bell pepper. Not my favorite vintage. There are better Bordeaux blends in the Okanagan.

I am very impressed with this Gewurtz. I don’t understand how the average rating could be 85. Makes no sense. We have three more of this vintage, and one 2017. I have enjoyed the previous four bottles as well.

It's amazing what a little age can do for a bottle of cab sauv. Was delicious.

What a nice surprise. Very impressed with this wine. Going back to buy more. Normally I would wait a couple of years, and this wine could still do well in two years, but tasting fantastic right now.

Had our first of 6 bottles. Tasting good now. Will be interesting to how it develops. Lighter type, which I like. Great fruit, cherries in particular.

Disappointed. Stored perfectly and decanted for an hour. It had potential but then it didn’t. Not happy based on what we paid for this. Oxidized.

Better than expected. Was not full bodied, unlike the label definition. Nicely balanced, some good fruit. It was better with cheese and crackers than it was with the coffee-rubbed steak.

Pnp a half glass with cheese. Decanted the rest for 2 hours. Was worth the decant. Went well with a nicely marbled steak. Drinking nicely. Still good for a few years it seems. We have one left. I don’t think it will get much better.

Drink this now. If it’s a little funky, let it sit in the decanter for a couple of hours. It definitely evolved over the evening. (Was perfectly cellared for 8 years.) Taste was good out of the bottle, turned, then got better. ... it’s not an exact science, is it....

Nose seemed like it might be corked, or oxidized but the taste was OK. Not great though. I noticed the cork was one of the smallest i’ve ever seen. Not sure if that’s affecting things. We have another bottle. We’ll try that one soon.
