Violet on the nose and extremely peppery on the palate. This is not my style of wine. Too overwhelming. It did improve as it decanted though. The pepper dropped off and it became more balanced.

Excellent. Drinking well now with a bit of decanting. Initially tasted cherry and ecru ally evolved to prunes. Decanted for 2 hrs.

Classic good Margaux. Earthy and mineral. Maybe a bit of black berry. Long and nice finish. Definitely benefited from decanting. Was even better the next day.

Typical Californian Pinot. Raspberry nose. Flavourful but short in the mouth. A bit of a mineral taste. Overall a decent Pinot but not a wow.

This is a good wine but not my style. There were nice notes of blackberry but I found it had too much oak. The tannis were well balanced but the wine was trying to do too much. There was a fake artificial element to it.

My second 2nd bottle and once again I enjoyed quite a bit. It had a beautiful bouquet. The wine was light, truly a "vin de soif", nice fruit.

Cherry bouquet - Ash taste with hints of cherry and oak- Got better as the bottle aired. Went well with Spanish style steaks. Overall its an "OK" wine but not great.

Dark concentrated, inky, too much oak/vanilla, artificial burnt plastic taste. Cannot understand the interest behind this wine. Unfortunate that I have to drink 2 more bottles. I do not think age will improve this bottle. Poor QPR
