First time having this wine and first time decanting a rosé! Beautiful deep salmon color and an expressive nose of dehydrated cherries, red potpourri, and dill.

Palate of cherry, strawberry, orange peel, herbs/garrigue, and marcona almonds. Med+/Long finish. Unlike any rosé we’ve ever had and definitely worth seeking out.

Complex nose of hazelnuts, caramel, blood orange, tobacco leaf, and toast. Ethereal on the palate. So much going on, but with the addition of saline and near weightlessness. The finish goes on 60 seconds+. An amazing wine and my top sherry experience to date.

Complex nose of potted meat, dry cherries, leather oil, & violets. Great acid to volume ratios on the palate. The mouthfeel is linear, but full. Finish is medium. Although the finish is not spectacular, it doesn’t fall off and delivers a pleasant ending to a very enjoyable wine.

The first of three bottles was very enjoyable and I considered backing up the truck at $23, but bottles 2 and 3 were disappointing in comparison. Notes below and score are from the first bottle.
Nose: Ripe cherry. Spice box. Savory/chicken bouillon.
Palate: Well integrated green stems (whole cluster?) and dark cherries. Layered.
Finish: Medium and clean.
