Fantastic quality for its level. Massive fresh acidity. Pure. Gains concentration after some time. Yet weightless.

Drank at BYO Stangeby. Blind for the others.
Gave off a very young and vibrant impression. Even 2008 was a put forth as a very viable alternative.

Fantastic wine that except for a slightly muted nose has few flaws. Very long and broad. Fantastic salinity and powerful acidity that is firm and mellow. Slightly too young for a perfect drinking window still for my tastes.

Will wait 5-10 years minimum for my last bottle.

Gogged 26.2.2015

Smoky. Orange zest. Rich. Marzipan.
Very solid concentration. Long and broad. Maybe the most broad shouldered Selosse I have ever drunk. Toasty ending. Youthful.

Doesn’t last too long in the glass. Fades and acidity contracts and becomes more hollow.

Flawless bottle. Very light and fine color. No sediment.

Extremely fresh. Great backbone of acidity. Notes of coffe, mushroom, candied orange. Concentration and length out of this world. Slight disharmony at the end of acidic curve with some sharpness in the finish. Otherwise close to perfect.

Disappointed. A rustic riesling. Sharp and precise with lots of lime. Acidity is slightly off. Tart but not in a very pleasing way. Acidity’s overpowers the fruit. Popn pour. This needs more cellar time and hope it improves. Potentially just acidity remains.

Strawberries and a musky smell.
Typicity of UC also applies to this vintage.
Quite tight.
Harmonius.
Slightly fresher than the 13.

First impression is the acidity. It's like Coutelas 1809 on an acid trip. Really firm and strong acidity. Really present. Feels kind of old and tired at the same time.

After 1 hour it improves. The acidity feel recedes somewhat. Minerality and smokiness appears. The former disjointed parts become a part of the whole.

Disgorged september 2013. Should be prime but I would wait longer with this disgorgement.

Pop and poured. Still fruit left on the nose. Along cigar box, mild tobacco, slight forest floor/earthy notes, some rose. Lovely nose. Very well integrated tanins. Harmonious mouth. Not the most complex or long aftertase but drinks very well.

Strong acidity - typical 96. Kind of boring otherwise the first hour. Not much else going on. Opens up 1 hour after opening and shows some yeast and sour bread dough notes and gains some complexity in the ending.

A powerful champagne. Very pinotdriven - impossible to mistake this for a chardonnay. Acidity quite aggressive at first gulps. Even after 2 hours in the bottle both the acidity and mousse was going strong. Great breadth on the palate. Recommend additional storage for minimum 3 years.

Sharp and slightly unbalanced acidity dominates the flavor. Cellared 2 years and the previous bottles were more balanced.

I’ve had three over the past three months. Some bottle variation. Sensual pinot perfume on all. The one decanted for 2-3 hours had slightly astringent tannins. The ones pop and poured had a mature earthy flavor.

Hmm what happened between 2014 and 2015 with this cuvee? Harvested too late in 2015? The fruit has depth but is also heavy. Lacking lemon zest and nerve that I expected. Decent lenght but nothing like the 2014 version. All in all a decent drinker but expect a lot more from this adress and this price point. Pop'n pour. Last sips had a touch more nerve so perhaps som vigorous decanting can help out?

Harmonious and rich.
Very slight underlying green bitterness which gave it more complexity.
