Second go round, Coravined, started at 55, warmed slightly, on the deck, by itself. Absolutely beautiful! Don’t think California Chardonnay can get any better for my palate. I love the complexity of fruit, the balance, subtle oak and vanilla and the super long finish

Soft but intact cork. Nice cherry, blackberry and cola flavors. Stood up well to chipotle blueberry ribs, had enough fruit and acidity to balance the heat from the ribs. Had some nice spice after several hours of air time,

Brick red. Tobacco, cedar, eucalyptus and grilled beef on the nose. Dark fruit, plum, tobacco, sweet oak and Italian spice. Big and savory but has cherry juice sweetness on the long finish. Need to give it more time to open up than i gave it tonight. Had with pizza.

Pale yellow. Fresh pear on the nose which comes through on the palate as well. Very tart lime with a long very citrusy finish with some petrol with warming most noticeable also with the finish

Dark lemon yellow. Light nose of lemon apple and vanilla. Nicely balanced citrus, tropical fruits and ripe apples. Nuanced oak. This does have more oak presence than the single vineyard wines but pulls it off well. If you’re looking for a California Chablis style this won’t float your boat but I still enjoyed it with chicken salad with croissant.

Rich, complex, tart, marvelous. Even when fairly chilled it has pineapple, mango, lemon meringue, and a crisp tart finish that lasts for minutes

Drank with Ginny. Dark purple. Black raspberries, fresh plum and baking spices on the nose. Blueberry cobbler, ripe cherry, vanilla, and still plentiful tannins to match the sweetness. Big, layer upon layer of dark fruits and a finish that persists for minutes. Amazing. Still youthful but drinking well now. My last bottle of this vintage.
