Candy apple red in color. After an hour in the glass a nice nose of smoke, cedar , and violets. By itself, moderate depth, cherry, black tea and red licorice. When paired with mushroom ravioli, pesto and Italian sausage it really shined. This brought out the fruit and sweetness in the wine, young in its evolution but a really nice food wine tonight.

Coravined two glasses so really a PNP. Baby Reva. Similar tasting profile, still an infant but nice to drink.

Youthful in appearance. Begins with slightly sweet ripe black cherry, vanilla mid palate, a little bit of baking spices, and very nice by itself.

Drank over three nights. This has nicely matured, tropical fruits, pineapple, peaches and pear. The oak is subtle and well integrated. Crisp but not tart. The mineral components have toned down but remains present

Good bubbles, super tart lemon, limes, and excellent QPR. Need to buy more, great with food, especially if it’s spicy and very refreshing. Pleasant nose as well.

Synthetic cork intact. It still allowed the wine to age normally. Savory soy, leather, maintains some black cherry fruit , black tea and modest acidity. Enjoyable now but I preferred it in its younger days. Personally autographed bottle so I had been holding onto it.

Dark golden, color of apple cider. In my opinion past its peak but still enjoyable. Retaining some of the fruit , enough of the acidity and finishes with apple cobbler.

Drank over two nights, this really needs a long decant to resolve the sulfur and funkiness. Patience was rewarded. Nice black fruits, tobacco, subtle earthiness bright acidity.

Early in its drinking window, tart cherry fruit to start, subtle graphite, and a big finish. Plenty of structure to support additional aging but really nice now.

This has to be one of my all time favorite Barberas . Great cherry flavor on entry, lots of acidity to balance the fruit and considerably more complex than most Barberas that I have tasted. Slightly better than the 2013 in my opinion. Sadly my last bottle. Drank over two nights with lasagna! Marvelous!

Not one of my favorites, a little disjointed, more earthy than most , maybe just an off or oxidized bottle. Retasted on a second night with consistent notes.

Light yellow gold in color. Intriguing nose of caramel, vanilla, and almond paste. Rich and creamy, mango, papaya , creme brûlée , crisp apple, and lemon tart. Absolutely marvelous finish. Wow! Awesome ! My last bottle. Still consistent profile for me compared to several years ago. Remarkable for 13 year old California Chardonnay.

Dark purple, exuberant nose of blackberries and blueberry. Luscious dark fruits, perfect acidity for balancing the fruits. Classic Paso Robles for me. Blueberry cobbler and vanilla. Young. Marvelous underlying structure but oh so nice to drink now. Reminds me of the first bottle I had when visiting the area and we had a bottle in a restaurant in Paso. Yummy!! After writing my note I reviewed the notes of Kelly WA and Fish WS we were clearly drinking different bottles, ? Time, ? Variation but my bottle was terrific!

Drank over 3 nights. The first two nights I just Coravined a glass, then opened it up on the third night. Super smooth and sexy. Big nose of raspberry cobbler and blackberries. Nice acidity to intensify the dark fruits, not thick or clumsy and a pretty s as nd long finish. In my opinion this is drinking great now.
