Cork was mostly sound, despite the age. Opened but did not decant. needed to use a filter to capture the bottom half of the cork as it disintegrated.

Tannins were fully integrated. Subtle cherry, old cigar box, forest floor notes. After an hour it opened up a bit more but cherry turned a little sour, but still good. Purchased at Auction for $35 so I was very happy overall.

Very fruit forward.
The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle.

Great wine. Tannins have mellowed and fully integrated. Blackberry and graphite with some cherry on the finish. Glad I have a few more bottle left.

Drank as part of a 2005 tasting event. While extremely young, it was amazing. Slight shifting to brick coloring, very elegant & structured. Soft tannins, amazing food wine. No sediment

Awesome wine. Dark fruit, lots of cedar spice. tannins fully mellowed. Was worried it might have been over the hill but it was great but after decanting it was amazing.

I like to let the single vineyards sit down for a number of years. This one mellowed well. Fruit was slightly muted but overall it was very integrated. still very full.

Could have used a little more age
