This wine is always special. I have a couple of 2015 and drink them from time to time. I also had bottles from 2010,2013,2014 and were at the winery several time (which is a very special experience). I am a big fan and therefore a little biased. With that amount of sun and the late harvest 2015 is really strong and sweet. I miss a little the complexity of the previous vintages and think that this a little bit to straight but it is still unbelievable how this wine is able to touch my soul.

It is always amazing how these Mosel and Saar Winemakers are able to put so much flavor in so less alcohol (9,5%). although the pineapple taste is dominant it carries a lot more like raspberry and mango but it is not just a fruitcocktail it is a real wine.

This was a recommendation from David at La Vinotheque in Beaune for an everyday wine. it has great value for the price. Light red in the glas, in the nose already s little cherry and in the mouth cherry with some other berries. Dry at the end.

Glad that I received at least some few bottles of this from a friend. The acidity and mineraity is outstanding and in this very early stage of this wine the lime taste is pretty dominant. I still fell that I already tasted a first glimpse of a light sweet fruitness (probably pineapple but not sure) which is promising for the future. The final glass on the second day after opening was a perfect fit with white asparagus.

Finally I was able to get this wine to Germany. Drank it once with a friend in the the Tourne aux verres in Cairanne. I realy like the Septentrionale Syrahs and especially this one. This balance between a full bodied, dense but also light with a fantastic acidity is absolutely how I like it. Tonight I cannot imagine to drink a better wine than this.

Well, i had a couple of good Riesling before we opened suddenly this red. I was resll flashed from the beginning. Really well structured and a full bodied fruit with some very balanced tannins for a good price. Brussets knows how to make good wine.

well after a start with an older but lighter Silvaner from Knoll we switched gears with this one - first of all the mouth is much fuller with wine - the fruit is fine but somehow dominant - mineral taste very balanced - really good

a cliche is Silvaner with asparagus but however this is one of the best I always like to celebrate. this Knoll wine has a fine fruit, is still very fresh, green (a little gras) and beautiful acidity. slightly mineral aftertaste. perfect with the food and after a bikeride throught the woods.

Well, in general I really like the Knoll-Wines but I should not have waited so long to drink this this bottle. Had a little petrol already but lost almost all acidity. Interesting fruity bouquet which was not to bad after a little while in the glas but ended a little flat. So, my advise: drink it within the first 3 years.

Dark Red, a little leather in the nose, Prunes, Coffee, Chocolate, almost a little to sweet but I like it. Not my favorite from Mallorca (4kilos and Ribas) but a good wine.

For us it was the first time Trousseau and we were quite curious how it would taste with the steak in the Bootshaus-Hafencity. I think it was a great pairing. Well, there is a dominant fruit but other than the usual steak-wines this also was a wine and not marmelade. A little pepper in the nose but in the mouth more a pinot noir style completed the interesting experience. I will visit the winery next time on my way to Provence. so far my favorite discovered wine in 2020.

Light as expected, nose full of fruit even pears, palate also very fruity but also a little spicy, very long, I really enjoyed it with our food. One of the better German pinot noirs.

really different than the other Boisson wines from Cairanne. Had it with an entrecote and it went very well with it. I like the smoothness, the balanced (black)berry and fruity style with garrigue aroma. really nice.

in the glass relatively light but the nose is the essence of how a good Riesling should smell - fantastic acidity (almost perfect) and this apricot, apple, mineral taste is really - great value for the price - I still have two more of the 2015 looking forward to open them in the next years

Well, I am somehow new to this category of Rhone wines. I am very familiar with CdR (Gigondas, Rasteau, Cairanne etc.) and somehow also with Septentrionale but this was new to me. Thanks to FC1910 for this experience.
The first nose with sherry, cassis, gingerbread but also raspberry and in the mouth also pepper. After some air, the pepper was gone but now the ripe fruits took over and the acidity at the end was fantastic from my point of view carrying a lot of fruit which tasted fantastic.

dark red in the glass, smells like tractor-tires, rubber and like my rural childhood, more or less perfect tannins and the barique taste is quite balanced and is the foundation for ripe fruits, dark berries, in my mouth. Wow, and the end some fine chocolate as well. I really like it.

very happy to have discovered this bottle coincedentally in my cellar, light gold in the glass, in the nose kind of sweet almost like a desert wine but in the mouth great acidity as afoundation for a fantastic (peach) taste. I really love it.

For me a typical one - used my centelino - nice acidity, berries but also sweet plum, medium bodied, cherry at the end, tannins are not dominant, a little lighter than I expected but a good wine.

A friend, who bought directly at Delaporte, brought it to our skiing vacation in the alps. Snow might not be the best environment for Rose but this one kicked it. Fine red fruits and good acidity and a real wine in the mouth. Great rose.

Slightly-gold in the glass. Floral and lemon notes in the smell. Taste is apple, lemon, and a lot more - not really complex but well-balanced and bodied. I really like it.

I almost forgot this bottle in my cellar. We bought it directly at the winery and this brings back some memories from our Loire vacation. The colour is yellow/gold and it has a very good fruity smell. Acidity is good and the fruit (pineapple, mango) is dominant. With seafood, we had Kaisergranat, almost perfect. We will visit Pascal again the next time we are in the Loire Valley.

I really like the blackberry fruit and also the balance between Grenache/Mourvedre. Tannins are there but not dominant, perfect. At the end some pepper. I miss a good steak with it but I will cook one the next time.

A gift and probably opened to early but from my point of view a good value for the money. Kind of light in the glas. Decanted and after quite some time it tasted very balanced. Good fruit (cherry) but also good spicy bouquet. Tannins also good.

Lunch at the Tourne au verre, Cairanne. Cave cooled, decanted, temp. adjusted (a little bit). Smoke and raisin smell and then dead flowers and old strawberries. I really like the Reynaud style with less Tannins and the special character (possibly due to the late harvest of the grapes).

Gold in the glass, kind of neutral but a little fino-like in the nose. In the mouth still a light taste of fruit but the sherrytaste was more dominant. Still drinkable but not the enlightenment (I did not expect).

light golden in the glass with a really nice smell - peach, kiwi, aged banana, tropical fruit but not to dominant - somehow crisp due to a level of acid which I really liked - the wine had a good character - (sidenote: in the Caveau des Arches, Beaune for 44 euros which is a pretty good price for a restaurant)

2015 Bordeaux might be good anyway. I tried one bottle from the subscription and this is already a very good wine. A fine, not to sweet fruit, a little roasted vanilla. Even if this sounds silly: it reminds of wine from Burgundy. Price/value outstanding.

A perfect companion to the goulash I cooked. the first smelling impression is kind of smoky. The taste is then very balanced between the meat/smoke and fruit (cherry etc.). A full mouth with a long sustain. German Pinot Noir is a difficult topic but this one is really really good.

I pretty much agree with FC1910 here. After the wine opened up a little bit it was really interesting to taste the kept but very intensified Riesling freshness and kind of controlled fruitness. I liked it.
