Solid Sonoma Pinot Noir. Cherry and light plum nose. Balanced with a strong red fruit flavor, a little spicy kick at the end of a smooth finish. I tend to prefer bolder Pinots myself, but this is a great selection for a group dinner.

Fruity and vanilla on the nose. Initially fruit forward with blackberry and plum, but mellows over a little time. Finishes smooth, although a little light for a Cabernet. Excellent value for a $16 bottle of wine.

A quiet nose, but strong black cherry and currant on the palate, with a good fruity finish with strong tannins throughout. At $15 a bottle, excellent value wine for a Tuscan blend. Recommend.

Dark fruits, smooth yet complex. Nice finish. Drank by itself but believe this would be great with a juicy ribeye.

Quiet nose, but packs a powerful cherry and raspberry punch on the palate. A little too much peppery acidity in the finish. Not bad, a good “bang for the buck” wine. My advice: let it breathe a bit before drinking.

Quiet nose, Ripe dark cherry with herbal undertones, earthy finish. Medium body. Good Oregon pinot.

Aromatic with raspberry and earth tones. Red fruit and spices, finish is a bit harsh with high tannins, but mellows with a little exposure. Paired with a great steak. (that makes everything better! :> )

A black cherry nose with hints of earth and currant. Strong fruity flavor, bold and maybe just a little overpowering. Long finish, spicy, fruity to the end.

A little different that my other tasting a few months back. I love that about wine. A small change in environment, temperature or situation, and every bottle is unique in some way!

Dark, ripe plum nose with a musty earthy overtone. Fruity but with a mature and balanced flavor. Long even finish, little tannins. Excellent!

Peppery/spicy on the nose. Bold fruity taste, slightly acidic finish but mellows in a few minutes. Paid $11 for this Tempranillo, wish I had bought more.

Very aromatic, cherry and a little vanilla on the nose. Fruity with a strong finish but a little high on tanins. Let it sit for bit after opening. Good "bang for the buck" wine.

Full bodied Zinf; spicy, fruity nose and taste; Not too heavy, but excellent finish. I'm not much of a Zinfandel person, but this is probably my favorite. Paired it with a high end hamburger, and it rocked.

Earthy, floral nose. Blackberry with a good peppery finish. Decent Bordeaux blend, may want to let it breathe a bit...

Very good. It has a cherry and vanilla nose. Smooth fruity taste, mild finish but consistent throughout. Excellent Rioja and probably could be paired with just about anything. A great "bang-for-the-buck" wine!
