10/11/23, 10:39 AM - I have a Signature vertical back to 2004, but at $100 looks like I’m stopping at 2020. 😩
3/5/22, 6:37 AM - Life long Jersey Shore guy and you’re spot on! About the wine too!
4/12/18, 7:11 PM - Thanks for the note. Ready to drink? Need decant?
7/31/17, 8:32 AM - Two of my favorite things - RM wine and Chef Vola! I'm heading there next month with a few business associates.
1/7/17, 12:06 PM - What? No rating for the cookies?
10/30/16, 7:07 AM - Ready to drink with a decant?
10/2/16, 7:44 AM - My bottles were purchased from WTSO. Good stuff.
8/7/16, 10:03 PM - I purchased as well as it seemed intriguing but have not opened one. Can the wine possibly improve with even more time or is this the best we are getting? Thx.
7/31/16, 7:27 PM - Low score compared to your TN?
7/14/16, 8:40 AM - Great TN! Sounds like these bottles need a lengthy decant presently.
7/1/16, 8:59 AM - Great purchase for $39.99. Bravo!
6/15/16, 3:55 AM - Did you purchase recently from Last Bottle? I ordered 4 and awaiting shipping. Thanks.
6/15/16, 9:35 AM - Once I receive my shipment I'll open one up and report back. Hopefully you only had an off bottle. Thanks - Anthony
6/26/16, 7:11 AM - I opened my first bottle and it was ok. Probably more in line with your wife's thoughts. No need to wait on these nonetheless. Decanted for an hour.
4/9/16, 9:00 AM - MC2 do you happen to know the blend? Thanks.
4/10/16, 5:01 PM - Yes I could not find the exact blend % anywhere and was just curious. Bottle I drank on Friday was excellent once again. Thanks.
3/27/16, 5:59 PM - Great TN!
2/27/16, 3:35 PM - I've even had this wine with Salmon and sushi and it never disappoints.
2/27/16, 4:41 AM - Interested to hear what other lower priced Zins you would compare this to. Thanks.
11/19/15, 2:37 AM - Been on the wait list myself for approx 2 years. How long did you wait before making it? The wine is awesome!
11/19/15, 9:09 AM - Thanks. Only 3 years to go :-(
2/6/16, 7:43 AM - How much of an allocation are you eligible for including the Wight? Just curious. Thanks.
11/14/15, 6:22 PM - Great TN. Thanks.
10/15/15, 2:33 PM - Hi Ben. I've been anxiously holding off on opening the HS bolt cutter cab? Think it's ready to drink with a good decant? Thanks for the other HS tasting notes too. - Anthony
8/21/15, 3:16 PM - Decant or pnp? Thanks!
8/1/15, 11:43 AM - What was wrong? Hopefully just too early to open.
7/28/15, 8:52 AM - Would you mind sharing your recommended Nebbiolo producers? Thanks - Anthony
7/28/15, 1:11 PM - Thanks!
5/31/15, 4:37 PM - I have an unopened case, any suggestions for a future experiment to attempt? Love this wine for the price.
5/25/15, 8:14 AM - Ben, did you decant the bottle? Thanks.
1/29/15, 7:04 AM - How do you think this will evolve over time, 5-10 years?
1/27/15, 6:38 PM - What is your opinion of time left in the drinking window?
1/29/15, 7:03 AM - Thanks, HG.
1/16/15, 12:46 PM - Had a similar experience so I called back and ordered a case. Can't beat the price for sure!
12/12/14, 10:34 AM - I have resisted opening a bottle but with scores ranging between 50 and 100, combined with the passionate tasting notes, I have no choice but to find out for myself this weekend.
9/7/14, 7:41 AM - Try WTSO. My bottles were $24.99. Have not yet tried one but looking forward to it.
9/6/14, 4:59 AM - I love this wine as well. Trying to be patient with the remaining bottles and hold for a few more years. It's not easy. :-)
8/2/14, 3:17 AM - I concur with your comments, this is an outstanding wine and value. And I would also be willing to sell your children for another case. ;-)
2/5/14, 11:31 AM - Hi Bob, I agree with you regarding decanting the Brunellos. I should have written in my tasting note that we did decant for approximately 2 hours prior to drinking - that's why we were surpised about the results. I have other bottles and hope they are better like yours. Thanks!
6/29/14, 2:23 PM - Drank second bottle today with MUCH better results. Must have been a problem with first bottle. Still have a couple more so at least I can sleep at night now. :-)
5/26/14, 6:37 AM - Could not agree any more. Have not tried my 2008 yet but the 2007 has been a real treat. Wish I had purchased more!
4/26/14, 3:36 PM - That's disappointing as I have a couple of bottles to try. Did you decant? Thanks, Anthony.
5/25/14, 9:55 PM - Finally opened a bottle tonight with a NY strip. Decanted for 3+ hours and it was singing. As soon as the cork was popped it look in great shape and the aroma from the wine was bountiful. The wine really opened up nicely and paired extremely well with the steak and homemade brownies. Hopefully the next bottle has same experience. Also purchased mine from WTSO, just lucky with the bottle.
5/4/14, 8:07 AM - Do you think it's past it's prime or needs more time? Thanks - Anthony
5/4/14, 9:17 AM - Thanks for the reply. I have a couple of bottles in the basement and have not tried any as of yet. Your analysis seems reasonable and likely that your experience is due to a tainted bottle. Too bad because it's good stuff, or at least should be.
4/28/14, 7:37 PM - Agree, the decant is key!
4/27/14, 11:44 AM - Was the bottle decanted?
4/14/14, 4:37 PM - Miss the prime window or was there never one?
4/14/14, 4:12 AM - Agreed. Also feels like it has many years ahead.
3/29/14, 11:01 AM - Best $20 bottle I've had in a while. Only have 3 more bottles sadly.
3/8/14, 3:18 AM - Is slow-ox for 10 hours basically a decant or something else? Thanks!
3/8/14, 8:45 AM - Thanks much! I will try this approach on my next Brunello.
2/12/14, 8:03 PM - Picked up 5 more bottles today as promised. Can't wait to share with friends this weekend.
12/7/13, 9:46 AM - Just ordered two bottles on Monday and will have to compare.
11/19/13, 5:43 PM - I wholeheartedly agree. Elegant!
11/17/13, 5:40 AM - Ready to drink?
Thanks for letting us know about this problem. We will review your comments and be in touch soon with an update.
