Very pleasing subtle but clear fruit. tannins completely of. Wine nicely balanced. Several more years left on win. Very nice now. No need wait but no rush.

Still some fruit. Very nicely balanced. Hard to believe it is anywhere nears its actual age. earthiness to the nose with perhaps a touch of cola. Happy to drink again if I only had another bottle. medium length but very nice finish with a trace of tannin remaining.

Tannin still very pronounced. I'd recommend either drinking this ten years ago or in anther ten. Has not yet developed complexities of age but may do so with more time and it has lost it's youthful exuberance.

Beautiful. Sweet fruit. Lovely Grenache taste. Smooth. Did not want to put down. Only drinkable San I've tried yet. Syrah was all alchohol, this had alchohol but less overpowering so the sweet fruit complexity shown through. Sad when bottle was empty.

Wait at least 10 more years before opening another bottle. Seems like it could be incredible but right now it is just nothing special.

Beautiful. crisp. drinking perfectly. layers of flavors on the nose and below. Great to sip but perfect with the food too. One of the best dry whites I've had.

Earthy. Traditional style. lovely. still fresh but defininitely more about the earth than the fruit. What an old Italian Barolo should taste like.

Pebble Beach Food & Wine Rare Wine Dinner. Beautiful wine. Light, crisp, sweet. wonderful nose. Not as heavy or nuanced as the Gunderloch TBA's I recall but a great finish to the meal and the highlight wine of the night.

Pebble Beach Food & Wine Rare Wine Dinner. High alchohol. port like intensity. limited finesse. Doesn't match my memories of Grange. Last had at the Wine Spectator Tasting a few years back where the 1998 was incredible. Disappointing. Maybe in another 10 years it will be different but right now it was not interesting.

Ready to drink but will last many more years or decades. More like a quintarelli with the touch of raisin in the nose and sweet hints. Later Dal Forno's seems stronger but I loved the style of this. Probably will stick more to Quintarelli. Time to open a bottle of his and test this theory.

May just have been past its prime. Deep yellow color. Nutmeg on the nose. Good acidity but just not interested nor really enjoyable. Left most of the bottle.
