Beautiful Brunello that is just beginning to flower. Decanted for a few hours, but still very tight. Wonderful bright cherry fruit on top of a tannic and earthy backbone. Finish medium in length with a hint of dustiness. This wine should be fantastic in another 3-5 years. Enjoy!!!

Still a bit young. Has some nice red berry fruit and a hint of earthiness. I think this will be a winner in 2 or 3 years. I like the continued restraint seen in the last few vintages. Not as big of a Pinot bomb as earlier vintages.

Still drinking very nicely. I would decant for at least two hours. This wine still has many more years left. Enjoy!!!

Still drinking very nicely. Let it open up for an hour or so before drinking. Has some nice depth and length that suggests it still has a few more years. Enjoy!!!

Nearly perfect Cali Chard. If you are looking for tons of fruit with a rich mouth feel this is your wine. Not all fruit and butter, it has a solid mineral backbone to back up the fruit and oak. This is the best that PM has to offer. Enjoy!!!

Perfect! One of the best Cali Cabs I've ever had the pleasure of drinking. It has everything you want in a high level cab. It has that awesome nose of rich red fruit and earthiness that hits you immediately. The intoxicating nose sets you up for a real treat. It only gets better. Your taste buds are in for a real treat. You will experience rich red fruit surrounded by a whole mix of wonderfully aromatic tastes that include tobacco, leather and eucalyptus. As you can imagine the finish is very long..... I only wish I had more bottles. Enjoy!!!

Delicious! I think this is now in the prime drinking window. Great nose of red fruit and a bit of cedar. The fruit is still evident, but a bit toned down with some lingering fine tannins and a nice medium to long finish. Enjoy!!!

Another fantastic Artemis. Not sure what James Laube has against this wine, but I'm always a big fan. Classic Stags Leap wine with a great earthy nose and bright red fruit. Has nice structure and acidity with some lingering fine tannins. Medium to long finish. Enjoy!!!

Really disappointing! Had a musty barnyard odor that was a bit over the top. Suspect this wine may be tainted. Beyond the taint the wine has no strong redeeming quality. Has some nice fruit and a bit of structure, but not enough to warrant this price. I would pass on this one!

A beautiful Cali Pinot that can compete with any French Burgundy. It has a floral and berry nose. Fresh red fruit up front with some lingering tannins and a nice finish that brings out the terrior. Enjoy!!!

Deep purple color with a nice scent of blueberry on the nose. This is not your typical Cali fruit bomb merlot. It has a fair amount of structure and some drier tannins that would benefit from a few hours in the decanter. the wine still has plenty of juicy fruit and a medium to long finish. Enjoy!!!

A bit underwhelming for a Don Melchor, but still good. It has all the typical Melchor fruit and terrior just a bit understated. I would drink up if you have some in your cellar. Enjoy!!!

Wow...simply spectacular! Has everything that's great about CA Chardonnay. Tons of rich honeyed fruit with a bit of acidity and a crazy long finish. Very balanced wine with a surprisingly less oak than you would expect. Enjoy!!!

Beautiful golden hue that looks almost rich in the glass. A wonderfully balanced wine with apricot fruit a bit of acidity and a long tasty finish. You do pick up a hint of toasty oak, but it does not overwhelm the palate. This should be good for at least another five years or so. Enjoy!!!

Decanted for three hours. Medium to dark ruby red hue. A bit of leather, earth, and cherries on the nose. On the palate it had some bright cherry fruit with some fading tannins and a bit of oak. Medium bodied wine with a medium finish. Enjoyed with a red pepper and itailian sausage pasta that definitely helped the wine to shine a bit more. Enjoy!!!

A more Burgundian offfering from Sea Smoke. No where near as much oak or richness as previous vintages. Has vibrant red berry fruit on top of a solid mineral backbone with a fair bit of acidity. Light on tannins that will allow for early drinking, but will certainly improve with age given the acidity. Enjoy!!!
