Lots of notes of dark chocolate and cherry, but it's not overly sweet - just lush and velvety. The finish is slightly dry.

Waaaay past it’s prime. Can’t really give it a review under this circumstance but if you have a bottle you may as well pour it down the drain.

Perhaps this wine has hit the wall? It required 24hrs decanting before I was able to stomach the finish which quite frankly tasted like bad meat. After decanting it was palatable, but just barely. I can't recommend.

Best to let it breathe for a few minutes bc it gains some body as the fruit comes through. Speaking of fruit..there's a good dose of cherry and pomegranate then faint birch and watermelon. Not a serious wine, but a good everyday pinot.

Velvety with dusty black fruit notes and some faint red licorice. Light, but best savored. Good with sausage and spicy food, but not worth $33/btl.

A beginner's rose, but I wouldn't recommend. No fruit or complexity or anything special. For $5 you get what you pay for it.

I agree with the other reviews in that it's way too hot at first, but after decanting overnight this zin is pretty good. It mellows out nicely with blackberry and mocha notes. 86-87

Pleasantly surprised to find that this wine is is smooth and sweet with notes of black cherry, blackberry and spice. We paired it with spicy Mexican-Indian fusion and it was a perfect companion to the mix of tastes. Overall a great QPR at $10.99. I'd definitely buy it again.

Poggio is getting better with every vintage. The nose is full of ash and violets. In the mouth the violets notes are still there, but become faint and are accompanied by thyme and plum. Slightly dry and on the lighter end of medium bodied (if that makes sense?).
