15 percent alcohol. It feels on the nose. Smooth tannins.medium to heavy on the oak. I think galloni gave this 95+. I disagree, maybe I am to strict and it may evolve over time. 2 bt left which will not be drunk before 2020. Good, but expected more.

Old barbera stocks from Berri near La Morra. Aged 12 months in slovenian cask. 6 months in bottle. Ruby red. Red berries on nose. Taste of raspberry, strawberry. Liqourice. There is a hint of oak with wood and vanilla aromas. Personally i dislike oak but this was not overwhelming. Good structure and acid. Good consentration. Overall a good wine to recommend. I think this wine will profit from a fem more years cellaring to integrate the oak. Next try is in 3-4 years

Indeed high quality Langhe Nebbiolo. Very good with risotto and porcini. Quite tannic with a good structure. I will leave my remaining 3 bottles for at least 4 years in cellar
