Medium straw. Expressive nose of ripe yellow stone fruit, citrus, creamy and mineral with touches of tropical fruit and almond nuances. Medium bodied with medium acidity, good depth of flavour with layers of stone fruit and lemon zest, almond with oily texture and medium finish. Very good. 92-93

The colour of the wine is tawny indicating its age. The scents balance between freshness and maturity with vibrant blackcurrant , olive paste and forest floor. On the palette the body is medium minus , high in acidity and tannins are there but pleasant and smooth. At a perfect stage it can be became even better in a couple of years.

Aged for 8 months in 2nd use 300-liter French oak barrels.

Very dark, almost black-ish cherry color with a hint of youthful blue hue. The nose is rich, juicy and very dark-toned with succulent aromas of ripe plummy fruits, inky character, black cherries and some blackcurrant jam- the wine is moderately full-bodied, chewy and quite extracted, but also surprisingly low in tannins. There are supple flavors of ripe red berries, juicy boysenberries, some plummy fruit and a hint of blackberry marmalade. Due to the very gentle tannic structure, the structure of the wine relies solely on the moderately high acidity. The finish is very bold and juicy with extracted flavors of boysenberries, plums, some jammy red fruits, a little bit of inky character and a hint of savory oak spice.

A very big, rich and juicy super-wine from Greece, but contrasting the normally so very tannic nature of Greek wines, this is very soft, mellow and easily approachable. Overall this is quite tasty and fun for such a big wine, but I find myself missing the tannic bite - a wine like this really calls for muscular tannic grip, because now it kinda feels too round and globby - even though the acidity feels sufficient to keep the balance in check. An interesting effort, but not among the most memorable greek wines.

Black fruits like plum and blackberry along with some earhty and oaky notes. Big in the mouth yet refined like some sort of hybrid between new and old world.
