Very big wine. Deep dark color. Aroma of prunes and ripe fruits. Concentrated delicious flavor that is ideal with red meat. Tannins are present, yet mellow. Some opportunity for additional aging, but it is not necessary.

Very nice wine. Notes of cherries on the nose. Very well balanced acidity. Flavors of ripe blackberries, currants. Tannins are moderate— so easy to drink now, but can withstand a few more years aging.

Wonderful wine, very complex. Kind of the Austrian response to white burgundy. Does need the proper temperature and some open time to really blossom. Do not serve too cold.

All that's best about Napa valley Cabernet, without the usual penalties (overextractation, over alcoholic, overly jammy). Quite a wonderful wine that's ready to drink but may have another 5 years in it.

This is the most Burgundian Chardonnays I've had from the New world. Very enjoyable, but there's a mild acridness on the back end that keeps me from thinking more highly of it.

Lovely example of what Burgundy does best. Fresh but complex and interesting. Long finish. Balanced oak. This is the second bottle of this vintage tasted-- both superb.

I'm a little conflicted about this one. It's not particularly distinctive, other than it's nearly complete lack of faults. Is actually the 5th of six bottles that I've drank and it's the first note I've written. Decanted for about an hour before drinking. Enjoyed it very much.
