I finally get to try this wine after searching for 9 years since reading the MFW 100 point review.

Very good bottle of semi-sweet riesling. Still quite sweet, also high acidity. Seems not fully integrated yet, and I will leave remaining bottles for some time to see what happens. Less concentrated than I would have expected.
Score: 93, but with potential.

Overall a good bottle in great shape for its age. Pleasant aroma and good concentration in flavor. This was my last bottle.

07base 2013 disgorgement. Im a big fan of this wine and as always with these older editions the nose i absolutely wonderful. Mature, deep and a little cheesy - like a perfect 30+ year old champagne from a top vintage. This edition seems a little low on acidity and also very soft bubbles making for a slightly flat mouthfeel. Think its about time to either drink or sell my remaining 06 and 07 based editions and start enjoying the 09 and 10s to get a little more freshness, while I wait for the 08 and 12s to get into their zone.

Deg13. Totally shut down and hard to even sense that this is Selosse. Was considering if it was a fake bottle, but the provenance is sound and with some air the typical selosse notes do start to appear. But overall a weak showing tonight.

Still very fresh. Lacking some x-factor. Maybe in-between fase now.

Smells and tastes great. Full og life and bubbles. Still young but with emerging aged complexity such as starting secondary notes and a well integrTed dosage, but some time before the tertiery notes will appear.

So, I've previously been a big C.Heidsieck fan, CT says this is the 67th bottle I drink. Haven't tasted a newer release since the 08 base. Reviews saying these have dropped in quality and are relased (too) early. Picked up this bottle at the airport. 2017 based, 2022 disgorgement.

Getting the typical CH notes on nose and could sit all evening enjoying these. Palate is very fresh, a little thin and also bitter in finish. Not nearly as good as back in 2014-2015 when buying the 07based/2012 deg directly off the shelf and drinking, but that being said I don't sense a huge drop in quality - maybe now just needs a little time in the cellar?

My last bottle. This final batch was released in 2014 or 2015 and the wine could have been cellared for many years yet as the wine was completely fresh and one could be fooled into guessing 2008 or 2012 vintage.

A late disgorged magnum with a newer label. Judging label and cork I estimate this being released some 10-15 years ago.
Dense, sweet with a subdued nose and lacking fruit and acidity. Disappointed after reading so many fantastic reviews of this wine.

High acidity. Ripe, mature and oxidative. Don't think this will get better with more age and should be drunk now. Good and very enjoyable, but not great. This bottle was purchased recently on secondary market, so may not be representative.

Still going strong. Great intensity and complexity. You could be fooled to thinking this was prestige champagne level was it not for the lacking in elegance. Clearly GM house style with loads of yeast and brioche. This hit the spot for me on Christmas eve.

Florets label magnum with cork code V665.
Guessing this as 1998 base with a 2006 disgorgement date.
Not fully mature but not entirely clean evolution either - so I think this was a good time to pop this bottle, which was enjoyed by all as a starter to our annual Christmas dinner with the wine club at Restaurant Orangeriet, in Kongens Have Copenhagen.

Long time fan of this wine and have quite a large collection. Youngest base edition tasted up to now was the 2010, but decided yesterday to taste the 2012 after reading the fantastic reviews stating that this edition is something extraordinary.

Verdict - the wine is wonderful, but style is identical to all the previous versions tasted. Nothing new here, at the moment to my tastebuds at least. Will continue enjoying my older bottles while this matures.

Probably has entered a bit if a closed phase compared to when the reviewers tasted it.

Surprisingly biodynamic in style. Compared to a previous half bottle from same lot, this was much fresher. While enjoyable, I'm not completely sold.

Deg. 09/2012. 62 months on lees making this a 2006 based edition.

Maybe not the best edition/vintage of this wine, but still a fantastic and unique wine. Buttery, honeyed, golden fruit nose. Rich/dense and sweet palate, yet acidic and elegant. Bravo!

Drinks really well now and will keep, but is close to fully mature.
