Still drinking well. Let it breathe for an hour or two after decanting, nice tobacco and cherry aromas. May add more later as I still have a bottle left.

An easy cab, best with food. Nothing spectacular, but decent QPR.

Past its prime. Still drinkable and enjoyable, but would have been great about a year earlier. A pity to get it a wee bit late.

Very light and opened up well after about an hour. Held up great and expect the other bottle I have to drink just as well in 6 months. Not sure there's much life after that -- it's drinking well now, definitely worth what I paid.

More oak than I expected. A lot of floral notes on the nose and some lighter apple/pear on the palate. Enjoyed it as an alternative to the 'usual' chard, though!

Smelled slightly corked upon open. After an hour or so seemed better and tasted ok. Will revisit this evening, and I have another bottle which is hopefully better.

Significantly better than the bottle I had a few months ago. Or maybe my taste buds have changed. Lots of fruit, mostly strawberry. Paired this with some dark chocolate that was decadent.

Enjoyed this with pizza. Lots of spice and cherry on the nose. Based on other tasting notes, I think it's Syrah-like qualities appealed to me. Nice blackberry, licorice and spice on the mouth with nice acidity. Not a bad QPR, at least for me.

This is my first tasting note, so I'm pretty amateur. I hope to get better at this being a bit of a novice, but here goes.

Decanted for 30 minutes after removing from wine fridge kept at 56 degrees. Color is 'raspberry red' and there were hints of raspberry on the tongue. Actually let it sit a little longer (maybe another 15 minutes) to breathe in the glass, and found the flavors opened up a bit more -- I tasted a bit of blackberry and a slight tobacco flavor, which I see was mentioned in some other tasting notes for this wine. As the wine warms a bit, the aromas really come to life.

For the price this was a very good wine, not the best Pinot I've had, but certainly a good 'every day' wine. I plan to try another glass tomorrow to see how it stands.

Sorry again for the clumsy notes.
