wow. this is in an awesome place right now. decant for 30 min and just brilliant. strawberry, blueberry and blackberries, fruit, tobacco, sage, eucalyptus, it kept evolving over 4 h what a ride. tannins are perfect, finish is great. This was a fantastic bottle

drinking well, great for a surprise find in the cellar. plum/red fruit is still in the background, more savory herbal notes present. not a very lush wine, a bit pointed, but enjoyable nevertheless

nose of blackberry, cherry, herbs like thyme/rosemary, lovely nose.
palate is well balanced with integrated tannins, similar to nose with more herbaceous notes, earth and cherry, almost dried cherry. great finish and perfect with a nice arribiata.

This is on point and drinking beautifully right now. nose is supple with cassis and some muted berry notes and just the right balance of some earth. Palate is perfectly balanced. lovely bottle and great QPR especially for the area

fascinating bottle. debating the nose between cassis and .. gooseberry? floral but savory. reading the earlier comments, i can extend it and make it maybe towards olive or pickle but the group found it more intriguing and pleasant than off putting. palate balanced, cherry with some savory notes, nice bottle.

I love this wine. tonight initial nose had cherries and a nice green/savory/herbal element, and after about an hour it changed into a dead ringer for campari, but kind of bitter cherry vs orange, but really cool. palate full, fruiter than I anticipated but just a great wine to sit and drink over a couple hours as it evolves.

did not appreciate premox. needed about 60 min air but great mouthfeel, i felt the matchstick dominated palate but hints of some tropical fruits too. agree not quite qpr but certainly drank and enjoyed by all.

Still going strong. Drank as PnP but evolved nicely over 2 h. Dusty cherry, a little menthol on the nose, fantastic with osso bucco, great bottle.

Evolving over 5 hours, initial barnyard funk blew off quickly, nose went from cherry to currant to warming spices to sous bois, someone got a bit of menthol. Palate solid throughout; an overall enjoyable and typical burg.

really didn't like this the first time, years ago. on revisiting, i find the flor/sherry elements lovely, and the wine is lovely and lighter (i found it unbearably heavy and oily last time). i do not get much petrol as others have, but happy to say that this was enjoyed with some shrimp tapas cooked with sherry and butter
