Almost five years on from last bottle, it has evolved markedly, becoming a lot smoother, fruit more mature, longer and dryness more dominant. Would say it will not gain more from further cellaring.

Still quite feisty tannins. Dense blue fruit, a tad milky body.

Third of four bottles, two years since last tasting. Even darker yellow now, deep bouquet of saffron, ripe yellow apples, faint sting of chili. Acidity seems to be winding down a bit but will keep last bottle for a while longer for reference.

As commented below, this is a peculiar wine, dark orange/light brick in color, some sediments, a bit hazy. Not ‘nature’ funky and lower acidity than typical orange wine. On the nose light cream, rose hip, gently floral, hints of fudge and bitter orange. On the palate a wild mix of blood oranges, tomatoes, oak and sage. More fun than rewarding, quite hard to food pair. Nevertheless great to get to taste.

Quite thick, touch of oak, more yellow fruit than expected. Good qpr.

Good energy, dark fruit. On the younger side but enjoyable, will try to get more. Tip - better had in Burgundy glasses.

Last of three bottles. Very floral, light in its category. Cherries, hint of leather, lively tannins. Nicely made but does not seem robust enough for long cellaring. I’d say drink up in 2-5 years.

Loads of cherries, roses, leather. Tannins on the sandy side but still feisty. Fruit intense, medium++ length. Quite sedimented, seems somewhat past its prime. Drink up I’d say.

Quite fatty, dark yellow fruit, white pepper, some herbs. Nothing memorable.

Quite evolved already, yet somewhat mute still. Small and fine grained tannins, mid-mature red berries, rich nose. Needs time in carafe to open up it seems.

In a good state, yet no signs of winding down, still grippy tannins. Sleeker than the '15, mature red berries, quite full body, somewhat rosy and earthy.

Very dense, great energy and fruit.

A tad heavy, but still intense acidity. Lots of dark fruit, somewhat dry, hint of tobacco and lavender. Hint of sediment. Pleasant but not overly memorable. Will compare it to the ‘16 shortly.

Beautiful. Has evolved from light cherries to a deep mature mix of cocoa, raisins, coffee, leather, markedly dry and long with a bit of sandy tannins lingering.

Nicely rounded, balanced fruit, very good energy. Blue berries, a bit of green herbs, a hint of bile in the aftertaste but not so it bothers. Will keep last bottle for a couple of years more to so where it goes.

Impressive fruit energy, more PN notes than Gamay to be fair. In a good state right now but can probably develop over a couple of years further.

Lots and lots of tea, cherries, blueberries; ripe yet still fresh, a bit “watery”, murky low tannins. Surprisingly long.

Nicely matured, lots of violets and blueberries, quite flowery yet with some white pepper, has evolved nicely over the years. Energetic but should be had in the coming 1-2 years, I think.

Fresh red fruit, young cherries and hint of strawberry, mulled wine heavy on the nose. Still on the sour side, could probably benefit from 2-5 more years of cellaring if you are looking for the more mature notes.

Last of four bottles. Still great energy and promising levels of acidity. Can probably be held for 2-5 years more for further depth and development.

Quite muscular for a Morgon CdP, but somwehat muted at the end. Thick fruit, heavy tannins, on the darker plummy side. Rather sedimented as well. Not bad at the price but would probably noy buy again.

Delicious stuff. Quite full in body, malolactive tones, intense ripe yellow fruit paired with white pepper, lychee and fudge. Seems to be in a very good state right now.

Had alongside the 2011. They have both matured finely but the ‘12 is somewhat muted, dusty. It does however retain more energetic acidity, and seems it would probably benefit from further cellaring, going into a more mature state. Maybe hold for five years or so?

Had alongside the 2012. The ‘11 seems more expressive and floral, yet with softer acidity. It has developed nicely but lacks the complexity to make it more than just above average.

On the younger side of course at this point, but good value for money and has lots of potential for development.

On the nose reminiscent of white Rhône or white Bordeaux, in the palate more like a liquid paella; thick, somewhat earthy and savory, salty notes.

Probably too young at this stage but the wine is not that interesting imho. Will cellar remaining bottles for some more years in hope of more complexity.

Six years on since last bottle, the sweet improvement from some years of cellaring really shows. Deep red fruit, tannins have come together nicely, acidity still present. Medium+ length, nicely balanced.

Beautiful showing, delicious balance between fruit, acidity and salty minerality. Not complex nor any impressive length, rather a really good wine now and for a couple of years more, I’d say.

Four years on since last bottle, it has evolved further, fruit has become more rounded, but not yet developed any real depth. It has the notes of a Nebbiolo but the mouthfeel of a Pinot Noir, yet marked sandy tannins and a biflavour of black olive that sets it apart. Stellar value for the money but I will keep last bottle for a couple of years more to see where it goes.

Held on to second bottle for 5+ years. Very good length, but I feel the cream has taken over a bit too much. Acidity still good but it's just not as intriguing as it used to be.

Drinking great right now. Dark forest fruit combined with heat and pepper, Provence spices yet still on the cooler side. Not overly exciting but juicy and nice.

6+ years on, in my taste this is still not a good wine. Too much ridden by murky, green, spicy notes, no real fruit, hard to food pair as well. It is somewhat more open than before but I don’t see this going anywhere well.

Vertical tasting of 2013-2021. Still good value despite the price increase over the last years. This is quite young still with pepper, pear, green stemminess and hint of cannabis on the nose. Let remaining bottles rest for a couple of years.
