Just tried another bottle after a flawed one 2 years ago....and it was flawed too. Followed by a third. Buyer-beware.

Drinkable...but tired. Surprised a Lytton is fading after 7 years even in a meh vintage. May be an off bottle. Have 2 other...fingers crossed they will be better.

Still a baby. 3 hours of air...still really tight. Nice acid for a 15.5% wine. Did not feel overly heavy or overripe. Bottle was gone after 5 hours when it was just starting to get more interesting. Going to wait another few years before opening the next one.

Drinkable but disappointing. Very hot on initial pour. Shows all of it's 15.5% alcohol. Burned off a little after 3 hours to reveal a very simple CdP. Maybe better on day 2? Another Garagiste hype bomb that didn't deliver.

Still a baby. Shy even after 3 hour decant but a couple hours later started to show potential with ripe fruits and softened tannins. Will wait before opening the next one.

Delicious crowd-pleaser. Enough complexity to keep it interesting. Won't provoke transcendent experiences but will bring a smile to many faces.

Double-decanted 2 hours before drinking. First glass pleasant and well-balanced and then....the wine exploded with flavor and energy. Loads of primary fruit backed up with plenty of acidity and refined tanins. Nice extended finish. One of my first experiences with Ridge. If this is the quality in their base-level wines, I can't wait to expand my inventory and progress up in their offering.

Wonderfully balanced wine. Not overly long on the finish but just plain delicious and pleasurable to drink. Great QPR for WV Pinot.

Very muted first night even after 2 hours of air. Much more expressive on 2nd night. Will give other bottles some more time.

A(nother) Garagiste misfire. Lot's of flowery prose...rubbish wine. Tart, high acidity, no structure, no finish. I'm off the mailing list because of this.

Wonderfully balanced. Just a pleasure as initial fruit evolved into rich mid-palate and very delicate finish. Good underlying structure still present. Great example of the pleasures of well-made, aged CDP.

Nice basic Bordeaux in first 45 minutes then went dead. Open with a group or when you're thirsty because it doesn't last.

Drinking very pleasurably right now. 45 minute decant. Rich blackberry, blueberry fruit. Well-integrated tannins. Finishes fairly quickly. Wouldn't wait too long on this one.

Great value. Very balanced wine with lots of classic dark berries and mild pepper on the palate. 15.5% but not overheated. A case buy.

Deep rich purple in color. Cork almost black. Dark berry jam on nose and palate. Also coffee. Soft tannic structure underneath. Pure pleasure. And, wonderfully balanced. Drinking well right now. Wish I had more.

Enticing bouquet of blueberry, dark fruits. Really started to come together with blend of dark fruit and soft tannins after 3 hours of decanting. Still youthful. Will wait a few years on my other bottle.
