Dark ruby, translucent. On the nose, an immediate impact of something smoky, even charred (surprising from a wine that I know spends only a few months in oak.) Aromas triangulating somewhere between cherries, blackcurrants and purple plums. Lots of juicy fruit on the palate and some fine tannins in the dry finish. Quite short and light, but a good, savoury, gulpable wine, at its best with light food. 12%, and an incongrous plastic cork.

2008 Clos du Tue-Boeuf Cheverny Rouge La Caillere Pinot Noir
Adoro esse vinho. Está num ponto bem legal de evolução porque além da bela fruta vermelha que sempre teve, parece quela notinha verde começou a se transformar em folha seca, terra, algo mais complexo. Delicioso como sempre.
