Developing medium + intensity nose of strawberries and spice. Palate is red fruit and some earth. Medium acidity medium integrated tannins give good structure and balance. Medium finish. Will age but enjoyable now. 91.

Little closed on the nose, cherry, red fruits. Little thin in mouth, not much interest on palate, medium acidity and drying tannins. Think this may be a little closed or need a lot of time.

Slightly hazy in my recollection but this was fantastic and drinking really well right now. Decanted it opened up to a medium + intensity nose of blackcurrant and cherry with earth notes also. On the palate the feel was smooth and packed a lot of dark fruit and complexity with leather and earth notes. Tannins were medium + but soft and there was a noticeable acidity. Perfectly balanced with a medium + finish. Drink or keep.

Clear. Golden yellow green. Legs. Medium + intensity nose, tropical, lychee, rose petal. Nice mouthfeel, slightly oily, tropical fruit on palate, medium dry with medium + acidity to balance. Medium + finish.
Really enjoyed this. Great value as I recall was fairly well priced.

Green/yellow. Medium still developing nose of Apple and grapefruit. Medium + acidity, fresh apple and grapefruit pallet. Medium finish, very refreshing and enjoyable but think needs more time. Will come back in a year or two.

Edit: Much better and more complex on day 2. Honey? Oily?

Pale ruby. Light legs. Medium intensity youthful nose, floral, red fruit, strawberry. Very soft and round on palate, red fruit again, delicate, noticeable acidity through to a medium + finish. Medium - alcohol. Very pleasant, very well balanced, super easy to drink.

Dark purple clearer to rim. Medium intensity nose, blackcurrant, cherry, spice and chocolate (think this might be psychological given the name!). A noticeable acidity and black fruit on palate, medium soft tannins and medium - finish. I quite liked and Alex rather enjoyed.

Was quite drunk by now and from memory just remember this being very dark in colour, massive nose of jammy fruit and tertiary notes of tobacco and cedar. On the palate I just found it too big, almost sickly, too much for me.

Clear, bright. Pale yellow. No legs, some sheeting. Medium + intensity developed nose. Petrol, yellow and green fruit. Palate is complex with similar notes to nose, green apples, gooseberry?, citrus. Medium + acidity, nicely balanced. Bone dry. Medium finish. A lovely well made wine, will be very interesting a few years and has the acidity to age.

PnP. Dark inky purple. Developing low intensity nose, red berry some earthy notes. Medium - alcohol, medium drying tannins that seem to soften over a glass. There is some red fruit on palate but also a slight bitterness. Medium finish.
Suspect needs cellar time to soften a little and that will be better tomorrow...

Mid ruby, clearer to rim. As others noted needs time in decanter. Opens out to medium intensity nose dominated by red fruit, cherry, strawberry. Some cedar in the background? Strawberry on the palate and some floral notes, medium - body and medium + acidity (its young right?). Nicely balanced. Medium finish that is very pleasant. I think this wine needs time and has the acidity to age. Will not open another bottle for a year.

Going back to this wine I'm surprised by just how earthy it's nose is, there is fruit there but currently masked by the earthiness. Palate is rather non descript but there is medium acidity, balance and a medium finish. Tannins are medium + and I will come back to this in a year or two. Suspect has the structure to age.

Golden. Youthful nose that develops overs 30 mins or so to reveal lemon and grapefruit nose of medium intensity. Citrus palate with medium acidity but slightly lacking in complexity, no mineral or stony notes. Very good but suspect will improve with age/a bit young and not as good as the 09 Kirschpiel GG the other night (but half the price)

A little hard work at first but more approachable after a little time open/decanted/in glass. Youthful nose, blackcurrant, cherry. Same on palate, medium acidity, medium + tannin, medium - finish. Nice enough everyday drinker even this young, will be interesting to see what happens with age but not sure there is much complexity there. Happy enough to receive as gift! Fully organic wine.

Clear. Medium intensity dark purple to rim. No legs, sheeting. Medium intensity developed nose, cherries, earth. Velvety mouthfeel, dark fruit cherry palate, medium - acidity. Medium + finish. This wine is changing rapidly in the decanter/glass, tannins being quite grainy at first and nicely integrated though still medium + after an hour or so. Will be watching to see how this evolves.
Edit: Day two changed a little, legs, more intense nose, addition of chocolate hints. More rounded in the mouth.

Bright ruby, low intensity, youthful bright red fruit nose. Not a great deal happening on the palate, light blackberry flavour and very thin feel, a refreshing acidity and a touch of tannins makes it pleasant enough to drink. No finish to speak of. Best of a bad bunch from the Eurostar trolley! Better than the sweaty cheese!

Decanted 1 hour. Ruby. Strong legs. Medium (-) intensity nose, berries, some spice. Dark fruit palate, medium body and medium (+) alcohol. Medium (+) tannins a little too present over a long finish. Would hope more fruit to evolve over the years and that this is currently a little closed. Disappointing currently for the price.

Dark inky purple. Very odd nose. Must be off? Nail polish remover? Some chemical at least. Not sure what has gone wrong but not right.
