It had the color of a young Corton, a lovely light citrus nose, and was absolutely delicious- would not have believed it was a 1089 if I didn’t have the label and cork in fromt of me. Will afford my last bottle a more appropriate setting than this one whose beauty I didn’t anticipate

Wine is dark and brooding; it is quite tight at present. It has I believe gone into a closed period, from which I am hopeful it will one day emerge. I do think there is upside potential, but this may be more hope than rationale

Trly loved this wine - it has a style all its own, and "only" got 99 becasue it was drunk alongside two 100-pointers that narrowly out-paced it - it could get better, but I see little reason to wait

Although not completely premox (as was the '02 Fevre Bourgros I opened first) it is clearly on its way there. Just barely drinkable, so still a disappointment.
I find it hard to convey how depressing it is to find so many of my white burgundies suffering from premature oxidation. It leads me to open one with trepidation these days, & to have another on hand in case. The Burgundian wine industry owes its customers at least a complete explanation for this wide-spread phenomenon, if not some degree of compensation.

Truly spectacular wine, showing as good as when new - easily my favorite new world SB: only Sancerres and Haut Brion Blanc do as well, and rarely better - just bought the '15 as the '08 and '07 no longer available - my one remaining bottle will be used, as TWELCH suggested, to compare with an HBB

fortunately, had this one ready as a back-up for the premoxed 2008 Fontaine-Gagnard Chassagne-Montrachet Romanée reported elsewhere - this a solid if unspectacular burgundy, drinking better than a previous bottle, undoubtedly underdeveloped

Exactly where a mature GC Chablis should be - absolutely delightful: 93 when first opened, 95 by the end of the evening - drank with sole meuniere and just a classic combination
