From Magnum. Fantastic, still young. Quintessential bordeaux.

From 3L. Very ripe with a quite a bit of sweetness. Very floral with roses and a mix of red and black fruit. Doesn't have the acidity to be truly great like the 62.

This was very nice and just entering maturity for my taste. Forest floor, rose, and red fruit on the nose. Long on the palate. If it were for the 99 rousseau clos de beze, it would have been a star.

This was just gangbusters from beginning to end. Consumed over 3 hours it just went from strength to strength. An intriguing mix of red and black fruit on the nose. Great expansion on the palate and a huge amount of dry extract. Marathon finish.

Fantastic wine. Cranberry/raspberry fruit with some orange peel, pumpkin pie spice, and forest floor. Some pine needles to. Very long in the mouth with great texture. Terrific acidity keeps the wine fresh on the palate.

Absolutely fantastic. Mushroom, underbrush, and tons of kirsch made this one of the best noses I have ever smelled. Persistent and long on the palate with a great finish.

Incredible depth of minerality on the palate. Still quite young with bright cherry fruits and underbrush. Huge minerals and a very long finish.

I nice bottle of wine, but most of the fruit is gone. Time to drink up....it won't be getting any better.

Good pure fruit, but lacking in the pinot funk and forest floor elements that I like in pinot. Very well made, but almost too clean. For me it lack distinction.

Beautiful nose of tobacco, cedar, and pure dark fruit. A bit a graphite and minerals balance everything nicely. Drink in 5 years when the tannins have resolved to a greater degree. Great wine.

Great length. Citrus, Floral, Hazlenut oil nose. Crisp and pure on the palate. One of the best whites I've had from california.

All 5 bottles have been terrible. All saline and sulfur. Won't be buying next year.
