Beautiful young fruit. Relatively smooth tannins but could use a little more integration. Luckily enjoyed with a nice filet so that didn’t matter at all. Not great qpr but there isn’t much that is from 2018 Napa that is this good that I have found yet.

I still maintain this is the best qpr of any wine I have found. And mostly consumed way too young. Something like $38 on release, I love these wines at 8-10 years. Punching far above their weight, so unctuous with perfect fruit/tannin balance and delicious umami with graphite and forest backbone. Yum.

Up against same vintage Archery Summit Arcus (same fruit), this definitely held its own, but was slightly edged out on this night. Lovely wine though. In a great place, nose was beautiful with nice fruit remaining.
