Decent hot climate Pinot, not too overripe (for what it is). I expected worse as a Burgundy drinker, considering this is an inexpensive grocery store brand. I have had much worse at a much higher price.

I liked the counterbalancing herbaceousness, taking it out of the realm of overdone Napa Cabs. Still quite tannic, which I enjoyed with the front end flavors.

Super, for an inexpensive Bordeaux Blanc. Compare this to what NZ is now charging and you have a real winner. Crisp and refreshing with some back end zing.

What? Cabernet Franc from Bandol? A hit of oak when opened, but it blew off. A pet project of the producer. We had a great tasting here and the are a great winery. Tasty wine, internationally styled and polished.

Old school Bandol, super rusticity that I love. Tannins have mellowed a bit. Beautiful funk on the nose, perfect Bandol flavor profile. Can’t ask for much more. Purchased at the winery and cold cellared since. Savoring each sip.

What a treat to savor and contemplate. Top notch producer and I cherished the opportunity to be able to enjoy this over several days. A lot of sediment. Better to decant or use a Port filter.

Different barrel fermented style that I can sense on the nose and taste on the palate. I like the dimension that it adds along with the typical SB profile. It would need the right dish to pair, great on its own.
