A lot of ullage, but still fantastic. Lovely nutty old Burg flavors. Wow!

Difficult to drink. Weird flavor profile with a touch of secondary bottle fermentation. One of the worst wines I have had in a while. Would not have guessed it is mostly Zin. Blech! No balance or refinement.

I like the more austere style, balanced style and enjoyed this more with age. A whiff of oak that blew off. No overt fruit and a touch sour on the finish that was pleasant. Tasted with a Linne Calodo that made the Biale taste so much better and balanced.

Heavy and ripe with decent acidity Not in pursuit of balance, but extraction and points. If you like that style you may enjoy it.

Amazing wine. What flavors and nuances. I think this could age for years. I just love it. A touch of funk that adds another dimension. One of the best wines that I’ve have had in a while.

Holding up, but at the limit. I would not decant. Lost it fruit and with air got a bit stewed, still some tannin on the finsh.

I very much enjoyed this wine found in the back of the cellar. Purchased at the winery. Holding up fine and nuanced. Impressive for what it is and what it costs.

A sledgehammer white. Huge upfront hit of Oak that subsequently blew off. Lots of extraction, almost tannic finish. Not something I want to drink all the time but fun to try it.

Bought on release and very cold cellared. Still good fruit with a tannic hit. Could age for years. Not what I perceive as M Rolland style, as it does not taste fake and manipulated.

Fierce wine. Opened for a few hours but did not decant. I think the tannin is outlasting the fruit.

Drinking perfectly, with a great vibrancy on the finish. In no way declining. All around lovely wine. Paired with a crab salad with a touch of spice that went well together.

Decent CA, Pinot and has held up well for its age. Nor over extraction or overipeness, but still a simple wine. The high scorers could not be comparing it to a Burgundy of a similar price.

I love Pfalz Riesling. I think it is the best white wine in the world. This bottle was purchased at the winery on release. Cold cellared and drinking fresh. Pale straw colored with a hit of front end fruit counterbalanced with crisp acidity. Perfect equilibrium. Amazing wine. Should last for years and years. Beautiful.

Lovely PS that has great structure but not too aggressive, which PS can be. Also avoids being monolithic another PS trait. One of the best PS I have had. Purchased at the winery.

Elegant and light, but really lacking of complexity or intensity and a simple finish. Tasted a glass from two different bottles. Subtle and I tasted and tasted trying to coax something interesting or intriguing about it other than the color. I realized that it is made by a company that the brand means something, not necessarily the product.
