Little depth, and an almost too easy drinker for a cab.

I liked this wine! Beautiful looking; nice compromise between stark dry and overly fruity. Bland? If you want a more in your face rosé, shop California. Try a Pedrocelli or a Rodney Strong.

I drink everything. This would be good augmented with all Kong’s of good stuff, but alone it is a decent deck sipper.

Incredible how these have held up—‘15, ‘18 and now in 2020 this 2014 has done its maker justice. Good job.

Spice, darkness, well balanced with a hint of alcohol which is acceptable. Mild tannins; smooth. A very nice blend.

Isn’t it great how a 2013 tasting can be reviewed as “possibly beyond its time,” and 7 years later I think it is amazingly excellent! Wine plays tricks.

Not nearly as starkly dry as an Italian Grigio.

As another has said, this effort has added a notch in the “bold” category. This is really a fine example of a not exactly right Pinot. Bring it on. I believe it is still identifiable as a Pinot noir. And the spice note is well preserved.

Smoke! Where’s the fire? Smooth on the pallet with a just right tongue ruffage. I’m sipping it after dinner, but this would be great with a burger.

I love acidic sauv blancs. This is tops in that category. Kim Crawford is half the price, but this is a slight cut above.

15 year old Samgiovesse blend. Lovely. Great color still. Drinks so smooth with zero edges. Some fruit mostly likely long gone. Still excellent.

Supports the wisdom (seldom shared) that a well made zin will age well. At 9 years, this is one of those. However, upon first taste, not so great. Something was off. No tasting on day 2. On the third day the wine became much better, the odd after taste almost completely gone.

Score based on a 19 year old. Obviously has to be well made to have lasted this long. Cork came out a little too easily, but in one piece and good shape. Wine has a bit of “color age” tending to rust, but only if you look carefully against a white background. Some fruit remains and totally with drinking.

15 years later this $40 bottle is producing. The fruit remains totally present; smooth drinking. Like new color. All is good. This is a good drink during pandemic times, if not the mystery cure.

Rather disappointing. It’s lost most of its fruit, and really doesn’t much resemble a Chardonnay. I’m sure this was not the case when I tasted it at the tasting room a few years ago.

Excellent example. Pricing is about right and reasonable. Tart in a SB is good for me. This one is almost too far tart. Don’t say that fast.
