Huge and powerful. Lacking a little fruit. More balsamic and herbaceous. A great and lovely wine nonetheless.
Give it time

First time for me.
Started out a little light and unfocused. With time it gained volume and more precision. Ended very fresh and tight with lovely floral elements.
Needs time

Starting to gain complexity and tannins softening.
A very good showing. Hasn’t peaked yet and will last at least another century. No signs of the warm vintage.

Wow
What a surprise from this, to me, unknown produducer.
Very forward style. Medium oak and fresh acidity that almost presents as a whiplash.

Very approachable.
Soft tannins. Loaded with dark cherries and blackberries. Higher notes of balsamics. Not as tertier as expected.
Wonderful.

Nicely perfumed. Great tannic spine.
Still got some years ahead if the evolved fruity midpalate can withstand.

Core of fresh red fruit lifted by roses, menthol and pine. Fine but biting tannins finishing with rounded tobacco.

Sexy and attractive nose.
Very floral with fresh sweet cherry. A little green note, that some might find distracting. I liked it.
A very charming Richebourg.

Should easily last 10 years from desgorgement.
