This has filled out since I last had it 2 years ago, the acidity is still there but much more balanced. Quite lovely

Started off with some prominent acidity but after an hour it settled down into that lovely Gonon profile of syrah, slightly smoky, meaty with real depth.

A lot of acidity, and it seemed like a bit of spritz. Will leave this for a while.

still fresh and delicious, hasn't really moved since my last bottle in 2012. it hasn't developed that pinosity that some beaujolais develops.

Drinking nicely, showing a bit of sous Bois. Some excess acidity showing but otherwise a good premier cru Beaune. Drink or keep

this has aged well, I haven't had other FR wines to compare, but it was rich, balanced, a lovely wine. It's started to move into the tertiary phase but i'm unsure how much it would improve from here.

Very nice BR, a bit of heft to it. Not had the producer before, but would buy again, and would like to try further up the scale.

A lovely balanced NR syrah, not infantcide to drink now, although will get better with age.

20 years on and still going strong, probably the best bottle so far. Not complex but feels perfectly mature, nothing out of place, just nicely savoury

Starting to show some tertiary characteristics of forest floor, still lots of acidity but a nice weight to it.

A surprising amount of co2 in this, once given a shake it performed well, drinking nicely and wouldn't say there was any rush.

From magnum, drinking nicely, still some tannin, and good acidity. I would think that it will continue to age but not sure it would get better.

Dark gold, lots of interest aromatically, but didn't have the acidity needed on the palate. I can't see this getting any better.

Obviously young, and doesn't seem quite as approachable as the 2011 at the same age. This is probably getting more serious and I think has more sulphur. Very rich, concentrated and that slightly oily texture that you get with white rhone. I'm sure this will get better, and probably will leave for another year before approaching again. Good value.

A very good PTG, crunchy red fruit with a hint of savouriness, and good acidity. All the attributes of a good table wine.

From 375. Very light colour, tasty with some savouryness and lots of acidity. A touch of greeness ar the start which isn't unpleasant.

Very impressive wine for its level, a lovely young white burgundy, could do with a touch more acidity but lovely none the less. Wish I had bought more.

Quite a spritz to start, but a bit of a shake released the gas. Very tasty indeed, good mostly red fruit, nice balance of acidity. Look forward to trying the other wines.

Much as last time, fills out nicely, however this time there is a touch of bitterness on the palate, not unpleasant though. I can see this ageing very well indeed.

Not quite as bright as I expected, but just starting to get a savoury edge to it. Overall a lovely wine as you'd expect of a fourrier village bottle. I would imagine it will still get better.

Still bright and savoury. No hint that this is fading, and I would hope that it would actually develop some tertiary character but only 1 bottle left now so doubt I'll find out.

From half. A lovely wine, good depth with the typical cab franc greeness that gives it a savoury edge. I think the old vines make all the difference here. Will continue to get better, although i imagine bottles are probably still on the young side.

this is approachable now, good balance, structure and aromatics. The tannins aren't agressive, so it's a pleasure to drink. I'm sure it will continue to get better, but not a crime to drink now. A good value barbaresco.

Dense, stewed fruit, still unsure whether this will actually get better.

Edit: the last glass on day 3 was much better, suggesting a long decant is probably needed

Gorgeous wine, while very young this was still an absolute pleasure to drink. A tight core but very heady aromatics. I guess this will get better but no crime to drink now.

Gorgeous wine, got better and better in the glass, light and ethereal with all the qualities of Syrah done in a Burgundian way. Seemed to be be completely ready.
